Lockdown or no lockdown

Big thanks to the founder and the team behind this amazing community, they are rendering a great service in promoting hive by providing support to hivers...
I bet without their help some authors would have quit blogging due to lack of support on their blog but they became the last hope of many and also helps author in developing their writing skills by their weekly prompt... Kudos to y'all!
This week prompt about impromptu lockdown remind of the last one that happened during the covid pandemic, it was serious and lot of death toll was recorded but i am glad you and i survived it....
To be honest, i was not affected in any way during this lockdown and also it seems to be one of my best year, because i had a good growth during those moment..... I was not affected because i was already working from home so i had no reason to go out and complain we are in a lockdown....
I have been on lockdown by myself before the official lockdown started, i only go out to buy food or when i have urgent matters to attend to.... So i see no difference at all when the lockdown started...
Some things that changed was the house became fuller, neighbors were now around and it kind of feels good to associate with them, i hardly see any of them before the lockdown because they leave the house so early in the morning and return late in the night....
Moreover it was mostly companies and banks that shut down during the lockdown, people were still moving around to buy stuffs in local groceries shop so getting food was not a problem but one can't travel to a far distance due to absence of vehicles on the road too....
I am sure i will be fine as long as there is no threat like the covid pandemic or any other diseases spreading from one person to the other... I was a bit scared not for myself but others, i know i can't contract the covid because i don't go out but what if someone close to me contract the disease, that means there is a higher chance of me contracting it from the person too and this is the case of many who contracted the corona, it was from their loved ones and that is scary...
Food won't be a problem as i can easily stack load of food that will be enough to last me a month, it just going to be me, my food and my gadget on a vacation in my room away from the outside world till the lockdown ends lol...
Not really a vacation because i would be inside working my ass out, nothing really changes for me, lockdown or no lockdown!

It’s good to know that you will definitely survive if there was to be another lockdown, if I had known hive before the lockdown wouldn’t have been affected that way before. It also affected my schooling which added extra year to it
i felt bad for the student honestly, it ruined the school syllabus and other plans and even till now, they are still trying to find a way to balance everything...

Sorry about that, Covid actually stopped the world from moving for a lot of people and we should be grateful for making it through that period.

Staying at home wouldn't be much of a problem for people who are used to working from home but you know there are times when the body demands for something other the wall of your apartment.
Food will be the major issue because you have to go out to get things.
well we still have groceries shop around that open amidst the lockdown, so food wont be a problem too and you are right, leaving the four corner of our room is important and i do that when i feel suffocated for being indoor for too long
The luck down to me is also one of my best moments, because it during this moment that I came across crypto and it's indeed a great opportunity for me then, I was able to make use of the moment to explore more... I see the positive side of the pandemic .
look who is here, my sweet heart😁...... yea the lockdown was a blessing for some people even though some had it very rough and it was a nightmare for those who lost a family member or loved ones......

But as long as there is still blogging and food at home I can stay as long as it last
My street has so many people selling foods in their compound so no need for me to go to the market for food
yea i was not affected in any way, and yea with hive you won't miss your work that much too
People always say introverts are boring, but when the pandemic came, we were the ones that were perfectly fine. We have this nature of being self-sufficient as we tend to make our necessities available before they arise so we wouldn't need to go out and all.
I am not all introverted, but that part of me made me last through the lockdown. The only thing I could have changed about that period of my life is actually being more productive. So there'll be another, I'd be prepared this time, no matter how long. And u should be fine.
you are right man, i don't think introvert see any difference between lockdown or no lockdown, their routine and lifestyle still remain the same,only the extrovert are getting sick for staying indoor too long lol

Yes friend, we are on the same page. Lock down or not, we will be fine. I thought as much and that was exactly what I sheared too. For me with hive I don't have any problem with lock down. Infact, it will save me a lot because people are beginning to think that I am avoiding them on purpose.

so many didn't know about hive and it seems it was the lockdown that attracted most of the nigerians am seeing now to the hive platform, every disappointment is a blessing and what the lockdown has to offer was online work to some people...

What might look like a disadvantage to someone can be a great advantage to someone, guess that is why we are all made differently. Those working online made a lot of money during the lock down, I can't imagine how the accounts of people like mark zugaberg swell that year. Those running forex were just giving testimonies of how they hit a lot of money and those running other online/ social businesses.
The thing is, that lockdown was not bad to everyone, I am sure that many people would not mind if the world shuts down again but not because of diseases rather if it will be possible for fun hehe. Even in my side there were shops around for one to get food and other minor things, food was not a problem to some persons, but others ran out of money and had nothing to eat because they were running petty businesses in the market and some need to go to offices like teachers in private schools before they could earn. As soon as they ran out of money, it became hell for them. This is the reason why I don't pray for another lockdown to occur.
yea i also know of certain people that made a lot of money during the lockdown, it was a source of blessing for some people.... that is life, never balanced
