Importance of diary to keep our online assets documented
One of the disadvantages of being heavily invested online is that when we die, some of our assets will die with us because they will not be accessible to our family members.
Most of us on the blockchain are just the lucky one in our family who seems to understand how blockchain and crypto work, our other family members ain't opportune to understand it clearly enough to venture into it.
I was checking my WhatsApp status earlier this morning when I viewed this sad status, it was a fellow online hustler who died and his younger brother posted it on his status for his friends to know and in case anyone had a business deal with him so they can let him know, well I felt that is too early to be discussed when it is not even up to 24 hours he died, but I won't judge as I don't know the situation on the ground.
The main thing I got from this was that his family knows he is into crypto but they do not know about all his assets nor how to access them because his brother said in a voice note that there are many apps and stuff but he doesn't understand them.
This made me reflect on my own life too, what if I died today, how would my family access my assets online, obviously they would be able to gain access to some if they ask questions or post it on my status, they will gain access to my assets on the hive blockchain but what about those not on hive and those spread in other different places.
This is the reason why we must be prepared for things like this, we won't die untimely but there is a need to be prepared for it, no one knows when he is going to die, and those things we labored for should not perish along with us, our family should be able to have access to them.
So what is the backup plan?
Keep a Diary: This could be a good way to keep your online assets documented, In case anything happens to you, even if they do not understand how to use the password and code in the diary, you can also refer them to a trusted person that can guide them in retrieving your asset in different wallets and chains.

Do we honest I also thought about it several times and because of that I kept several kind of document in my PC and smartphone with hints of password and instructions and I believe after my death my family will be able to access it but I didn't support to writing it in diary because it's also risk if somehow diary fell on a wrong person. Besides in the current time brother/sister don't hesitate to murder brothers also for money. So don't you think it's also a risky step??.
there is risk in everything, our laptop can also get stolen, so the main thing is to protect those things..
And your second point is very valid, some family are bad and once you let them know about your wealth, they might shorten your life span

It is a fact that if we work in online field and have crypto acid with us then we must have a special diary on which we can write down all the passwords so that we don't face any problem later. Just like a few years ago, people lost all their money because they forgot their passwords.
cases of people forgetting their password is very common, have also had few of my friends unable to access their hive ACC because they misplace their password
