It is easy to get addicted to those things I mentioned above but very hard to get rid of the addiction.

Betting

Why do people get so addicted to gambling? It is because they believed it is their shortcut and easy way to make it in life but in reality less than 1 percent of the world population made it from betting... If you calculate how much some people lost in Sportybet and other gambling dens, it is more than enough capital to help them start a good business that can flourish but there is this spirit that comes with betting, the moment you lose money, you will want to earn back what you loss and in the end, you will only lose more if you also win money from gambling, there is this urge to win more and at the end, you will lose everything again.

I used to be a gambler around 2010, I won 2000 naira which was the biggest amount I ever earned from betting that year, I stopped playing and left the place in the hope of using the money to buy good clothes the next day which was on Friday when coming back from school.

Unfortunately, the clothes seller didn't open that day and I went home with the money, I refused to go out on Saturday because I knew I would be tempted to bet, I could not resist the urge on Sunday but I only went out with 500 naira, to cut a long story short, I lost the 500 Naira to bet and ran home to take the remaining 1500 which I also lost to gambling, this is the story of most gamblers. The addiction is real but I was able to stop the moment I changed environment.

Masturbation

There are many rumors surrounding masturbation, some people call it evil and that it lures bad spirits, and some say masturbating makes one lose their glory and they can never be rich but are all these true? I don't believe it is, your opinion may differ which is okay

Masturbation has its advantages and disadvantages in medical terms

It helps you to sleep well because of the hormone that you release after doing it, some people even like masturbating more than sex because they derive maximum satisfaction from pleasuring themselves rather than depending on the opposite sex. this is the reason why some married couples would leave their wife or husband in the room to masturbate in the bathroom.

I won't say prayer because I don't believe it is anything spiritual, it is just an addiction like others. If smoking and gambling aren't spiritual, why is masturbation spiritual?

Uhm we all know the slogans Smokers are liable to die young so this one is even worse than the other two above because they can't damage your liver, as dangerous as smoking is, it also has its own advantage, it gives the smokers the confidence and soothing mind they need but the bad effect is worst...

Why endanger your life for a short time feeling.

Drinking alcohol is not bad until you start taking it in excess... people have committed crimes under the influence of alcohol and they blame it on the alcohol but the fact is alcohol just gives you the ginger to do what is on your mind, it takes away your reasoning and make you do those things on your mind without remorse.

It is rare to see someone that is not doing any of the four things mentioned above, you are guilty of one right? lol
