I just want to rant

I left home by past 6 in the morning today along with my painter to paint my new rented apartment... It is a one room self contain located somewhere in lagos state not far from the island.....

The journey from home to the place was very fast because the road was free since it was so early in the morning and due to the gist i was having with the painter, i lost track of time and was surprised when it was time to get down from the bus, like why so damn fast today...

The time was around past 9 when we got there, i entered the compound and tried opening the door of my room when i realized it was already opened, i called the landlord to tell him what happened since i gave him a spare key the last time i was there as the old tenant left a wardrobe in the room and the landlord want to sell it to me which i refuse as i have my own, i gave him the spare key so he can take it out when i am not around but somehow they hold a party in the house and seems he gave one of his relative my key to sleep over, something that i have paid for, oh well i didn't cause any drama, am a peace promoter, i collected my spare key and that was the end of that saga....

The painter started his work. painted the wall of the kitchen and bathroom and the room white and also put wall paper in one part of the room that will contain the tv set and other gadget...

This is the wall paper he used for me and it fit perfectly with the white color on the other walls, the plan was for him to just paint today but during our discussion, i get to know he is an expert when it comes to hunting good bed that will last long so i decided to seek his help in getting one for myself...

We left the house around past 5 to go and get a bed for me and we did get one for 90 000 naira including the bed cloth, that is one headache gone but it costed us a lot of time as we end up getting home around 8 pm in the night.... what was left was to clean the house by first using chemicals on it and then normal detergent to make it sparkle...

This was the end result of the day's work and my plan was to sleep over but he insisted he want to go home and the time is already 10 p.m, i didn't want him to go alone as the town is dangerous but then i want to protect myself too by not even going back home so late that night but then the other spirit won, i can't just let him go alone....

Luckily we got a vehicle immediately we got to the bus stop but i was being suspicious of the driver at some point, he was calling the fare 400 naira, people refused to pay that amount and the driver singled out one guy from them and ask him to enter, i was like probably it is a one chance motor and the person he singled out was his ally...

Some minutes after, he picked another guy looking like a tout, and they started chit chatting, i will drop you here, i am going this place blah bah bla and my mind was like, oh he is trying to trick us and the tout guy is the second accomplice, i was even suspecting the guy sitting right in front of me because he was so quiet lol....

Anyway we got to our destination safely, no robbery or kidnap case, my suspicion was wrong...

Something tragic when i board another bus that was to take us home, just when we got to a one way road, a motor cycle was trying to over take our motor and boom he came out when another vehicle was coming towards the direction and boom pa poooo was what we heard, the oncoming motor has hit the bike man and his passenger, our driver didn't wait so i can't tell if they survive it or not....

That was how my day was spent and i am so damn tired right now that i will be sleeping in the next few minutes!... Good night famz!
