Hive naija weekly theme: My dream career

It is a beautiful morning as nature blessed us with rainfall that makes it all cold after a night full of heat and mosquitoes! I was scrolling through my feed when i saw the hive naija weekly theme that took me down the memory lane, it was about my dream career...

I have always wanted to be a medical doctor that serves the country army, means i want to be both a soldier and a medical doctor that saves life, in the army there are many sectors, we have the fighters, doctors and many more so i chose those that saves lifes of those injured during war but it was all a dream

A fucking dream i had to wake up from after pursuing it for good 11 years, there is no point to keep pursuing that dream when you realize you have 2 percent chance of making it there...

I have attempted jamb like four times now trying to study medicine, the first two jamb i did i chose to go for the Nda[nigeria defense academy] but i didn't make it even tho i got 207 and 249 respectively as my jamb score..

The brain was still kind of fresh when i did my first two jamb and hence the good scores but the last two jamb i attempted wasn't that good and i decided to stay away from nigeria and their education as i see the impossibility of getting admitted without connection or money as that is what they have turn it to..

They have killed a beautiful dream of mine, it would have been beautiful to be in that khaki fully armed yet still have my saving skills incase of any emergency like seeing my fellow soldiers injured during a combat or war.... I love adventures and that is just the right profession for me, moreover i was born to save lives but then i don't need any profession to prove my existence, there are many ways to save lifes and i will still fulfil what i was born to do..

A wise person knows when to give up, so i have given up on becoming a medical doctor, we are now in the era where technologies reign, so for the last time i am attempting jamb again and this time i am going for computer science, will i be admitted? hmm only time will tell but i am not bothered, life is now more than education, it helps but it doesn't change what you are going to become in life or where you are going to reach..

If money wasn't an obstacle, what life would you have loved to live?

I have always wish to live in a small world of mine with my loved ones, there would be a wall around us to protect us from the bad energy of the bad ones on the street, it will be a beautiful life where we would live happily eating what we want, buy what we desire and have fun all day, money solves 90 percent of the problem of humans, and aside our needs that requires money, humans will be happy especially when they are surrounded with loved ones..

It is okay to dream big but it is not enough, dream big in the night and work towards your dream during the day, work to fulfil it, make that dream come true and you will always be pleased with yourself...
