Grimbardun Smith is designed to be one of the best Tank Monsters on Splinterlands

I am now fond of using one formation which is more of a high defense and less attack tactic and it was the combination of the Lily shieldpaw summoner and Grimbardun Smith that made it possible.

The Lily Shieldpaw is a legendary dragon summoner with 3 amazing stats which are the Triage, +1 heath, and Camouflage, the camouflage made it impossible for the opponent to attack rear monsters summoned by it, they can only attack the tank[the first monster on the team] unless the opponent uses a monster with scattershot ability.

For the lily ability to be utilized well, One needs to use a very strong tank that is very difficult to eliminate and none but Grimbardun Smith fit that spot.

This is Grimbardun Smith. He is Big and Mighty and he doesn't give a fuck for anyone, he has amazing stats that keep him protected in battle.

The immunity ability protected him from every negative stat, so it can't be affected by poison, affliction, or other negativities, it has armor but also has repair ability to fix himself in case opponent monsters come so strong at him.

He is designed to be the best tank as it has protection against all forms of attacks be it range, melee, or magic, it has the Shield and Void Ability.

The placement of Grimbardun at the first position and use of Lily summoner gives me some confidence and the only fear is that the opponent should not use scattershot monsters.

Aside from the summoner and tank, I also need healers and other triage and repair abilities monsters at the rear to strengthen him so the opponent would find it difficult to defeat my tank.

The other players could use the same set too, so I often try to use a monster that has the scattershot ability that can pave the way by killing the opponent healer or any other monsters making it difficult to win the battle.

Here is a battle that explains the theory above, Lily summoner was used to summon Grimbardun as the tank, and the second monster was Tide Biter which has the reach ability and also a reflection shield in case the opponent uses a monster with a blast.

Merdaali Guardian was my heal tank and it has the repair ability too, which means Grimbardun has another monster that can support and repair his armor if the opponent's attack on it becomes fierce but the opponent only used one melee attack so it was not fatal and he could protect it armor with just his repair ability.

Magus with the magic attack + scattershot ability did great in the battle, it single-handedly took down 3 of the opponent monsters, it has the blood lust ability so the more monsters it kills, the more powerful it becomes.

The last two monsters were Igor Darkspear with the thorn ability and Naga Assassin with the swift ability that increased the team's speed by +1. They all did amazingly well.

It was a flawless victory as the opponent was not able to eliminate Grimbardun.

I am getting addicted to this tactic and I use it often in battle.
