There are different kinds of people when it comes to rendering help

We have those who help others so they can be indebted to them, they help so that the people they help can return the favor when they need it, they will render you one help and expect to reap hundreds from you and the moment you said enough, they will remind you of how they help you in the past.

We have those who just want to brag about their wealth, they help you not because they really want to, circumstances made them render the help and that is to feel good about themselves, such people will help you if you ask for their support in public where people are many because they don't want to lose their face but try asking them in private and they will tell you they do not have.

I think those who showcase the people they help online fall in the category above too, they have family members suffering, and their friends are not doing great too but you will see them help strangers and post it online so others can praise them for being kind...

We also have genuine helpers who render help to those who need it without expecting something in return or hope to cross paths with them in the future to repay the kindness.

Such is the story of one man whose bus got robbed on a journey and he was drained of the money he had with him, he saw some prostitutes on the road and asked them for help but all of them abused and cursed him except one out of them, she asked him what happened and he narrated his ordeal, she offered to help him with transport fare but it was already late in the night so she took him to her place and fed him, the next day she gave him transport fare and bade him goodbye, the man was surprised that someone like that could treat him that way, weeks later he went back to that place to find the lady but those she met there said they don't know her, she went to their spot too but could not find her.

The lady was his guardian angel, anything could have happened to him if he spent the night out... He could not find her but he remembered her forever and even told his children the story of the mysterious helper.*

Regardless of people's intention for helping me, I always appreciate their kindness, I can also discern genuine help from those for selfish purposes so I always value those who genuinely help me more... I have some friends that I can break my rules for and that is because they earn it...

I would be really pissed if someone help me and post it online, so I can only pray that a situation that will make my helper post me online would never be my portion, but life is a mystery, the same way we are wishing for good, we must also be prepared for the bad days, just in case such happen to me, I will take the help if it is something I really need, surviving is winning but of course I owe the giver no respect or sign of loyalty since they chose to humiliate me before rendering the help.
