First time of getting drunk during an event
Hello to all hive learners members, learning never ends and we all learn from each other stories, all thanks to the hive learners founder and teams for all this amazing prompt and support..... Big respect to them....
I am not a party lover but i have been to some event in the past and would love to share a crazy experience that happened to burl himself during one of those event...
I don't smoke nor do i take pleasure in too much alcohol, but there is something i love so much that i drink alot back then.. it is palmwine and my love for this drink is still there just that i rarely see it around nowadays...
This story i am about to share happened long time ago when i still use to be an extrovert, a guy who loves everything outdoor, so it was one of our street brother that was doing naming ceremony that day...
After we played football till around 7 in the evening, instead of going home as usual, we decided to branch at his place to dine and wine... Immediately we got there, we were welcome and within 5 minutes. food is already being passed from one person to another...
Not long after, they brought in my favorite drink, palmwine!
Without wasting much time, i took a cup and started pouring it for myself, i drank 5 liters of palmwine on a seat without feeling anything...
Oh yea, i thought all was fine until my best friend told me it was time to go home, i stood up and boom the breeze was blowing me, i knew something has happened to me lol
I could not walk properly again, my body was very light and that was when i realized i have pass my boundary, i had to sit down again to really understand the situation i just put my self..
To cut the story short, i was drunk and does not look like i can walk home in a normal way...
My best friend was around and he lives opposite my house so i have no issue at all, he doesn't like palmwine as much as i do so he didn't drink much....
We headed for home together but it does not look like i was walking, it is more like i was running because it was the breeze blowing me forward and i lost all my motion energy just going towards the breeze direction.. It was my bestfriend that holds my hand to make sure i didn't fall down....
We finally got home, didn't eat my night food, land on the bed and slept off till the next day, none of my family members knew i was drunk that night....
Some people don't remember what happened the next day after they feel better but as for me, i remember everything that happened clearly and that was the first and last time i got myself drunk with palmwine...

Lol, I am imagining seeing a drunk man who walks zigzag, forward and backward and can't stand straight and most likely fall if he's alone.
That's a lesson for you, imagine 5Liters that's much and it is about 25 glasses hahaha
lolz yea, it was then i knew how those drunk people feel and why they walk the way they do...
I didnt realize on time that it was too much until i stand up, more reason why free things can be harmful, i drank stupor cos it was free

lol sí, culpe a nuestro estado de embriaguez por todas las travesuras ... También me doy cuenta de que sentarse y beber no hará que uno se dé cuenta de que está borracho hasta que se ponga de pie para caminar, lección aprendida a través de la experiencia.
I've never tried palm wine, but I'd like to some day. I looked it up and it's not something exported, but someone in California is trying to recreated and bottle it for sale in the US... but it's not cheap!!!

oh yea that is hella expensive, i guess it is because it is not the local palmwine but a processed one... it is super cheap here and can be found more in villages and certain areas in the city too....

🤣🤣 i said somethings that night i should not have said but then, when drunk it is hard to hide your feelings🤣 but thankfully only my best friend got to hear my bottled up feelings lol

oh palmwine is really a very sweet wine, more reason why i love it, moreover it was a free wine that night not knowing free thing will cost me my sanity for a short period of time🤣

Palm wine is sweet and can be very tricky, you will think nothing is happening but it's slowly intoxicating you.

my bad, i should have stand up to walk sooner but no, i was so relaxed, if not that my bestie told me it was time to go home, i would have kept drinking and might likely sleep there🤣

I haven't had palm wine before but I learnt it wasn't alcoholic until it ferments. This is surely a good learning experience you have shared with us. haha.

Drunk walking is best aspect of drinking for me but always make sure your neighbor going same direction is not drinking much else, UBA fit sleep for restaurant 😂😂
