My Hive Goals for 2024

While I'm not a fan of New Years resolutions due to the uncertainty of life and tendency for it to throw curveballs, I do think it's important to set goals and regularly revisit them to look back at progress that has been made. Because of that, I'll be periodically posting about my goals here at Hive and my progress towards them.

Hive Posting
I want to keep this sustainable. My goal is to post every other day in order to balance work, family time, and posting. I'll post more frequently as time allows.

Hive Power Ups
I currently sit at 1163 HP and plan to get that up to at least 2000 by the end of the year. At one post every other day, I think that's doable. If I switch the rewards on my High Rollers Giveaway post that I put out every Wednesday, I think I'll make that goal if I set it to only pay out in HP.

Hive Onboarding Committee
This is a new project that @bitcoinman and I started up, to help bring other Hive users together with the goal of 1)onboarding new users, 2)supporting, teaching and encouraging them as they learn the basics, and 3)having those previously onboarded go out and onboard others.

There's naturally going to be a lot of trial and error here, but my goal is to try and personally onboard two people to start. I'll be doing this through Reddit and X. Once I have a chance to see what works and doesn't work, perhaps I can "fine tune" this and bring on more people for 2025.

BRO
Right now, I only have a little over 11 BRO tokens. Considering one BRO sells for over 8 Hive right now, I'm keeping my goal here extremely conservative. I will try to bring my total holdings here to 30 since I'll pick up some from delegating and some from buying off Tribaldex.

DAB/DBOND
I'm currently staking 335 DBOND to mint me new DAB each day. I have 82.743 DAB and typically get 0.176 DAB/day, so a conservative goal for DAB would likely be around 170 DAB, since I'll likely pick up more DAB along the way and want to increase my staked DBOND to 500, in order to mint more DAB long term.

DRIP
I currently have 51 DRIP staked and get about 3.6/month in staking rewards. I plan to buy some in addition to regular rewards, so my conservative goal here is 105 staked by the end of the year. I get Hive drips for staking it, so this will continue to compound over time and keep growing my daily and monthly income on Hive.

HIQS
One of the goals with HOC is to support new users. It can be discouraging not getting any recognition or rewards for good content. HiQ runs a bot that lets you call for a vote on someone's post with a specific command. I currently have enough to request two vote calls, but I plan on picking up another 115 HIQS so I can bump that up to three vote calls.

LGN
I am currently delegating to stickupcurator and get Legidrips. I'll increase my delegation over time, but right now I'm only averaging ~16 LGN/year. I'll likely look for some separate buying opportunities throughout the year a well, as I know @Raymondspeaks plans to grow this token. I foresee the price of LGN going up in the near future.

ZING
This game looks interesting to me based on what I've read. While I don't think I'll have time to play it personally, games like this can easily become an overnight sensation. Since this token will be used for currency in the game, I expect its price to increase substantially sometime next year, once Holozing is made available. Right now I'm just delegating some HP in exchange for tokens as a small investment. I'm hoping to maybe have a few hundred by the end of the year. Right now I'm at 63, so I have a ways to go.

2024 End Goal
My overall goal with these investments is to get in while they're cheaper and maintain a daily and monthly Hive drip, not including my regular posting regiment. With everything included, my goal is to bring in an average of 4-5 Hive by the end of 2024. I may take some profits during this time, but the majority of it will be reinvested to keep growing.
