Captain Fellblade: The stealth card the water class needed! - Socialmedia Challenge - Theme: Rebellion! (En/Es).

What's up Splinterfam! Welcome to my Social media challenge post where we will continue delving into the new Rebellion edition! In the previous post we explored another of the new skills that have been introduced to the game: Armored strike. This week we'll explore a card I've been keeping track of: Captain fellblade.

En el post anterior exploramos otra de las nuevas habilidades que se han introducido al juego como lo es: Armored strike. Esta semana exploraremos una carta que le he estado haciendo seguimiento: Captain fellblade.

Captain fellblade is the new epic water class card incorporated into the new edition of Rebellion cards, it is the first sneak card that has a combined attack: magic & melee which makes it really dangerous. Previous editions have had sneaky cards with magic attacks such as Goblin sorcerer from the Alpha/Beta edition or Coral wraith from the Unatmed edition.
Captain fellblade es la nueva carta épica de la clase agua incorporada en la nueva edición de cartas Rebellion, es la primera carta con sneak que cuenta con un ataque combinado: magia & melé lo que la hace realmente peligrosa. Ediciones anteriores han tenido cartas furtivas con ataques mágicos como Goblin sorcerer de la edición Alfa/Beta o Coral wraith de la edición Unatmed.
So far Captain fellblade is the most expensive epic card in the Rebellion edition, trading at a price of $5.336, it looks pretty good for an epic card! Therefore, in this post we will test the potential of Captain Fellblade and then see if this card is worth it. Let's get started!
Hasta ahora Captain fellblade es la carta épica más costosa de la edición Rebellion cotizandose a un precio de 5.336$, luce bastante para ser una carta épica! Por eso, en este post pondremos a prueba el potencial de esta carta y ver entonces si vale la pena. Comencemos!
🎏⚔️Rules battle/Reglas de batalla
We then have a game with a mana limit of 21 and the possibility of choosing 3 types of class: water, life and death. Due to confrontations that I have described in previous posts, there are 2 classes that stand out in this type of game: water and death. In this case our choice will be the water class. Let's now see what rulesets are present in this battle.
Tenemos entonces una partida con limite de mana de 21 y la posibilidad de escoger 3 tipos de clase: agua, vida y muerte. Por enfrentamientos que he descrito en posts anteriores hay 2 clases que destacan en este tipo de partidas: agua y muerte. Para este caso nuestra elección será la clase agua. Veamos ahora que rulesets están presentes en esta batalla.

All Monsters have the Blast ability.
Todos los monstruos tienen la habilidad Blast.
🚩Target practice
All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.

🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Kelya frendul
We will use Kelya frendul because it will increase the speed of our units, so we will have to complement this with monsters with high speed to have the initiative in the battle and also because that +1 defense will protect us from the ravages of the blast.
Usaremos a Kelya frendul porque nos aumentará la velocidad de nuestras unidades por lo que tendremos que complementar esto con monstruos con alta velocidad para tener la iniciativa de la batalla y también porque ese +1 de defensa nos protegerá de los estragos del blast.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Cruel sethropod
Cruel setropod is the most competent mini-tank of the water class, it only costs 3 mana points and has 4 defense points and 5 health points, which makes it difficult to finish. We will place him in first position and hopefully he can last 2 or more rounds.
Cruel setropod es el minitanque más competente de la clase agua, solo cuesta 3 puntos de mana y cuenta con 4 puntos de defensa y 5 de vida lo que lo vuelve dificil de acabar. Lo ubicaremos en la primera posición y con suerte podrá soportar 2 o más rounds.
👾 Tide biter
Another very exceptional low mana card, it can support our minitank from the second position with the reach ability and the best thing is that it has the reflection shield ability, being immune to the effects of the blast, this will help us mitigate the effect of the blast on our alignment, since with the target practice rule it is most likely that our opponent will use range or magic attacks.
Otra carta de bajo mana muy excepcional, puede apoyar a nuestro minitanque desde la segunda posición con la habilidad reach y lo mejor es que cuenta con la habilidad reflection shiel siendo inmune a los efectos del blast esto nos ayudarpa a atenuar el efecto del blast en nuestra alineación, ya que con la regla target practice lo más seguro es que nuestro oponente utilice ataques rango o mágicos.
👾 Captain fellblade
Sneak
Forma parte de las nuevas cartas Rebellion y destaca por ser la primera carta con la habilidad sneak que combina 2 clases de ataque: melé y mágico y aunque ciertamente consume mucho mana (8) vamos a darle la oportunidad en esta batalla de mostrar de que esta hecha.
👾 Pelacor bandit
To close our lineup we will use Pelacor bandit to complement the damage of Captain fellblade and weaken the enemy secondary row as soon as possible.
Para cerrar nuestra alineación usaremos al Pelacor bandit para complementar el daño de Captain fellblade y debilitar lo más pronto posible la fila secundaria enemiga.
👾 Torrent fiend
As a last resort insurance we will use Torrent fiend to protect our rearguard from possible cards with the sneak ability or that are opportunistic.
Como un seguro de último recurso utilizaremos a Torrent fiend para proteger nuentra retaguardia de posibles carta con la habilidad sneak o que sean oportunistas.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
Our opponent's alignment was as follows, place a strong tank in front to crush our vanguard while our second row spends turns attacking the units located in the enemy secondary row. I wanted to propose this lineup entirely scrum but I wanted to include Cap. Fellblade to see its effectiveness, if we are lucky we can weaken the enemy rear before our opponent can obliterate our vanguard.
La alineación de nuestro oponente fue la siguiente, colocar un tanque fuerte al frente que aplastara nuestra vanguardia mientras nuestra segunda fila gasta turnos atacando las unidades ubicados en la fila secundaria enemiga. Quería plantear esta alineación enteramente melé pero quise incluir a Cap. Fellblade para ver su efectividad, si tenemos suerte podremos debilitar la retaguardia enemiga antes que nuestro oponente pueda obliterar nuestra vanguardia.

💥Round 1💥
In the first round we dispatched the enemy torrent fiend and weakened both the Kulu and the Igor darkspear, on our side we were able to resist the enemy counterattack quite well and our minitank will be able to resist one more round.
En el primer round despachamos al torrent fiend enemigo y debilitamos tanto al Kulu como al Igor darkspear, de nuestro lado pudimos resistir bastante bien el contrataque enemigo y nuestro minitanque podrá resistir un round mas.
💥Round 2💥
With the second round Captain fellblade eliminates the Kulu and leaves the Igor darkspear available for our Pelacor bandit to dispatch, leaving our opponent with only 2 cards. Then the Tide remains and the most complicated is the Oshannus.
Con el segundo round Captain fellblade elimina al Kulu y deja servido al Igor darkspear para que nuestro Pelacor bandit lo despache dejando a nuestro oponente con solo 2 cartas. Quedan entonces el Tide y lo más complicado el Oshannus.
💥Round 3 & 4💥
Our Cruel sethropod does its job of holding the vanguard until the 3rd round, meanwhile Captain fellblade leaves the Tide weakened so that finally the Pelacor bandit eliminates it, this leaves us with Oshannus as the last unit that is eliminated by the 4th round. Tide biter granting us the victory.
Nuestro Cruel sethropod cumple con su labor de sostener la vanguardia hasta el 3er round, mientras tanto Captain fellblade deja debilitado al Tide para que finalmente el Pelacor bandit lo elimina, esto nos deja con Oshannus como última unidad que para el 4to round es eliminado por el Tide biter otorgándonos la victoria.
💧Conclusions/Conclusiones
Captain fellblade is the perfect complement for the water class, although the game was quite tight in terms of mana, they managed to achieve victory.
My favorite lineup to attack the enemy rearguard has been the Katrelba gobson/Dhampir infiltrator pair but now with this new card, the water class has a good alternative to weaken the enemy rearguard.
This battle confirms the water class as the class that is emerging as the strongest in the modern format, it remains to be seen if the death class also has cards that can confront it.
Captain fellblade es el complemento perfecto para la clase agua, a pesar que la partida era bastante ajustada de mana se logro alcanzar la victoria.
Mi alineación favorita para atacar la retaguardia enemiga ha sido el par Katrelba gobson/Dhampir infiltrator pero ahora con esta nueva carta, la clase agua cuenta con una buena alternativa para debilitar la retaguardia enemiga.
Esta batalla confirma a la clase agua como la clase que se perfila como la más fuerte en el formato moderno, queda por ver entonces si la clase muerte también cuenta con cartas que puedan hacerle frente.
