The Stronger Specie
When it comes to science and research, there are a lot of shady areas involved. While the laws are not explicitly clear on some parts, there are ways you’d handle something that would be criminal, but if done in some other way, the law would turn a blind eye to it.
Take for instance those of us that eat meat. Killing a goat is not a crime in any country, but you’re obligated to give them a swift death. Even religion wouldn’t permit you to kill something that was strangled. So, a quick death is all that is asked of you. Subjecting the poor animals to pain and torture, just for your sick enjoyment is illegal and has all the markings of a future serial killer.
So, when it comes to human research and the role animals get to play in them, I guess it’s just unfortunate that they get to fall into that category in the food chain. The truth is, this is just how nature was designed, the strong and smart will always rule the world. As a result, humans will always have dominion over animals. The day that would change will be the day the animals decide to take up arms and fight for their rights. Until then, humans will keep deciding what their rights are.
But then, we can’t really ignore the good all this research has done over the years. There have been many remarkable strides accomplished in the medical field just because of access to these animals, so many diseases have been cured because some scientists were allowed to do inhumane things to the animals. The reason we have cures for illnesses like malaria, typhoid, and the like is because, in the past, someone chose to work on animals.
I guess this is one of those topics where there is neither a right nor a wrong answer, it all depends on your inclinations as an individual because whatever you choose, you’re most likely right. But then, is there a way to prevent all this? Honestly, no matter how you think about it, there will always be animal experiments. Unless you want them to switch to humans, but for now, animals are the best bet if there would still be major strides in the medical field.
One way to improve this can be by creating simulation software. Something like AutoCAD (engineers will know what I’m talking about). This software will simply require you to input all the components of what you’re working on and also the specifics of what you want to achieve. Then, running the simulation will give you a percentage of how successful it would be. If it’s 100%, then you can go ahead and use it to test on the animal, knowing that it would most likely work.
If it doesn’t get up to 100%, you can choose to reshuffle the components, rearranging the degrees with which you add them and all. You can keep doing this until you get your 100%. This could allow many animals not to lose their lives in what would be a senseless loss. Because every failed test would be a lab rat or a guinea pig that won’t survive the ordeal in the same way they went into it. So, with simulations, we may be able to reduce that number.
But then, what do I know? I’m not in that field so the knowledge I have of it is quite limited. I’m sure that people are working round the clock to replace animals as guinea pigs. However, until that happy season, I guess we’re stuck with all these.

I agree with your opinion about experiments on animals to be used as some type of medicine, but I think current scientists cannot prove 100% that medicines made from animals, there are indeed some that can be cured, hopefully I medical people in the future will be able to prove with their efforts.

I don't think it's ok to do experiments on animals but we don't have any better options also to test. For the betterment we must sacrifice life and we choose to sacrifice the life of animals instead of ours. From that perspective there is noting wrong.
