It's Not That hard... Really!
Right from the get, I’ve never really had much to say with regard to weight gain or loss. It’s one thing where I have little knowledge and I’ve never really seen the need to expand the knowledge. There are those who will simply look at their face and they’ll be able to tell that they’ve either reduced or added, I even know a lady that can tell just by studying her wrists. Sadly though, I’m not like either of these people. The only time I know I’ve either lost weight or gained it is when my clothes get loose on my body or they become too tight. That is one trick that will never cease to fail me. I marvel when people can tell just by looking at you that your weight has been adjusted. For me, unless the change was really remarkable, that is you either got really big or shrunk down way too much, I would most likely not notice. That’s why when people ask me if they’ve added, I never really have an answer for them because as far as I’m concerned, they look exactly as the last time I saw them. Funny enough, back when I was still hustling and learning how to chase this money, I used to work with a network marketing agency. We went from place to place, giving health talks and running checks, before selling health supplements to them. Part of the checks we ran had to do with weight and Body Mass Index (BMI), and as a result, the seminar always included the reason we needed to have our weight within some set parameters. I didn’t really do what I taught others, but fortunately, I never suffered as a result. I’ve always been a slim guy, as a matter of fact, the only feature about me that people talked about was my height. My weight has never been called into question and to date, it has never really bothered me. Although, it did begin to bother me a bit when I noticed I was beginning to develop potbelly. For someone who doesn’t have a lot of money to my name just yet, it wasn’t a good look on me. However, I just couldn’t be bothered to stress myself to work out and get rid of it. All I did was the basic workout routine, mostly so I wouldn’t feel guilty and stuff. However, when I started staying alone, a lot of things changed for me. I was always indoors, if I was not sitting at my desk and working hard, I was on the bed busy on my phone or sleeping. Honestly, I have no idea if during all these while I gained weight. I guess I would never know, but what I did notice was when I began to lose weight. When I resumed school, the first few weeks were tough on me. Trying to mix school and work was tough, especially seeing how school did not just end within the four walls of the lecture hall, when I came home I still had assignments, coupled with all the work I had to do to stay afloat, it cost me a lot. The stress became too much, I barely rested and almost every hour of the day, I had something or the other on my mind. My days were choked up, I didn’t even have time to cook anymore, and I was always buying things from outside. That was how one day I noticed my trousers and shorts were no longer tight on my waist, previously I didn’t have to walk around with a belt but now I couldn’t do without it as I didn’t like the way I had to pull it up every second. That was actually what made me realize that I was putting myself through a lot and I resolved to do something about my dilemma before it took everything from me. I changed my lifestyle and made sure that I had more time than I did before, time for rest and to just wind back. To me, this is something simple. I’m sure that if I eat good food and stay away from stress, my weight will come back to what it used to be. I’m trying to take life easy and one step at a time, but then that’s always been my way. Either way, the main thing is that I’m healthy. And for that, I’m grateful.

I'm happy with you since you were able to prioritize your overall health and well-being. In my case, I'm already content with my health. Weight changes can be challenging to notice, and we know we have different psychologic responses to body changes. I laughed a bit when I read about your experience working in a network marketing agency, though you didn't follow all the advice you gave😂. Yeah... about the network marketing, I was just doing that for the money. And to be honest, I didn't look unfit back then, so it was easy to be lazy about such things. Sometimes, it's just a simple change we need.

Many people want to be slim by losing weight specially girls. They think more slim means more beautiful. But I think it's not true and what is the meaning of beauty if we become sick and weak? We should try to maintain our body weight within a certain level and it's beneficial for us. Many would be happy if they were in your place because they want to lose weight but it's difficult for them.
Yeah... society has placed a lot of pressure on us to have the perfect body and we find ourselves pushing our bodies to the limit. Until we snap. We need to be more careful.

Well, it I haven't seen someone in a long time, I may be able to tell the difference in their weight if it's drastic. If I see you everyday, I am definitely not going to be able to tell.
If you are a student and gaining weight, something is wrong. It's very challenging to gain weight while in school and be very keen about academics.

My brother, my keys have lost their color ooo! It's not even been up to nine months since I changed them and everything has washed away. If not that I'm already adept with the keys I would have been having issues finding each letter. Apart from the washed-out paint, they're pretty good so I don't think I'll be changing them again anytime soon.

It is always good to appreciate your weight especially when you are slim, because people are wishing for that. Staying healthy is all that matters.

I would also like to say here that people stop eating and drinking, this is completely wrong, it makes you very weak. If you want to lose weight, you should do it properly.
People really go to the extreme when it comes to losing weight, and you're right. It's wrong. There are healthy ways to this, we just have to find them out.
