Did I Ever Leave Work?

The season for jolly and fun is now past, we all have to return to our lives and get things back on track. Last year, many of us placed everything that was related to work on hold, choosing to focus on having a good time. But that good time is now over and we are moving on to greater and better things.

Of course, for many, they are not looking forward to getting back to work at all. The hunger to stay back and continue having a good time will be strong. But the call of responsibilities and duties will be stronger, and whether we like it or not, we have to resume work.

But for me, I have to wonder, do I really fall into the category of people who went on holiday? Because now that I think about it, did I ever stop working?

For someone like me, working from home is a great blessing. And the fact that it is something I so much enjoy doing is the icing on the cake. I have total control over my hours and my output, everything is all down to me. If I choose to work, I will reap the benefits and if I choose not to, I will also reap that as well.

Well, from this, I guess you can say that I worked throughout the holiday. I’ve said this before though, I don’t really consider blogging work like that. It has now become a part of me, something I have to do. The blockchain is just about my home in the digital space, so how then can I stay away from my home? And then, when we consider the fact that I have made so many wonderful friends in this space… let us not even go there.

But then, it was only in my blog that I kept being active during the holidays. For me to better enjoy the season, I had to place my other jobs on hold. And these include my Ghostwriting Book Project Consultant services, for the last two weeks of 2022 and the first few days of 2023, I didn’t answer any work emails or correspond with any client. I was taking a much-needed holiday. That was the only way I could afford to binge-watch some series during that period. Something I am sure will not be possible at all in the coming months.

And now, the holidays are over and it's back to get back on the saddle. There are people waiting for me and I just have to answer the call.

So now you ask me, how does it feel to be working full time once more?

Well, it feels like I never left. I picked up from where I stopped with the ease and familiarity of slipping a foot into an old comfy shoe. Things are moving on now, trying to pick up the pace, and as time goes on, we will be moving at full throttle once again.

The holiday was great and all, but it is time to get back in the mood of making money. And it is also time for the traders around me to reduce the price of their commodities. It was okay when we were celebrating Christmas and New Year, but everyone knows for a fact that January is always a tough month, so cutting prices should not be so difficult.

Anyhow it goes, I am ready to take on the myriad of possibilities this year has to offer. I am ready to grow and expand, ready to do what is necessary to get to where I am going. In a way, I guess I am happy that the holidays are over and work is back in session.

And we move…

Writing has become a regular thing for many and most people including myself do not see it as a job because it is fun creating content.

Responsibilities and bills will come knocking on your doors so this makes wanting to extend the holiday Impossible. You did just well with the two weeks off before and after the season, I am sure you are ready to take on clients job sine you have rested we'll enough

As in ehn... it is now a way of life for many of us. We just do it the same way we do mundane things. I guess that's what makes it so great.

You become used to the blogging life as time goes on. It wasn’t easy for me at first but I’m getting the hang of it. And of course people like you are inspiration to us.

It seems you did however get some days off of your offline work. Everyone must get the time to rest a bit. Your clients are for sure waiting for you and will be happy to finally get emails from you.

Of course, nothing is easy. The truth is that it doesn't get easier, you just get better at it. And that makes it look easy. You are already on a great path, I'm sure you'll be breaking down boundaries in no time at all.
Thank you for reading.

A times I wonder how you even do what you doing, managing online and offline is still a mystery to me. When I grow up in will like to be like you. Then before I grow, I will come for mentorship.

Wish you well as you continue with what you are used to.
