A Code We Need...
Having a code is something that is essential for every human being. No matter how good or how bad we are as individuals, there has to be a limit to what we can do, there has to be a cap to just how far were willing to go. This is very important because without such a thing, we'll lack discipline and control. Just about anything goes and such a reputation is not one that we want to burden ourselves with.
Having a code is sort of like a gravitational pull, no matter how far you go, you'll still feel it draw you back to your senses. Even when you're angry, even when you're in the throes of passion, no matter what, once you begin to approach the imaginary lines you drew for yourself, you'll immediately back off because you know that you're nearing the danger zone.
For me, I have a code just like everyone else. And it's one that I've come to accept of my own volition, it was not forced on me by society nor passed down to me by family. I simply learned it through the experiences I've had in life and the outcome of the decisions I've come to make as an adult. And this code is that I'll never worry about anything; no matter how bad they are.
You see, worrying is one of the most pointless things to ever happen to humans and as useless as it is, it never achieves anything. Except dissuade you from doing something that you really want to do. Worrying about failures and past mistakes is a big NO for me. Like, why would I be worried about something that I can no longer change? Why shouldn't I be more concerned about the future that I still have a level of control over?
This is one problem a lot of people have; they prefer to wallow in their failures and past mistakes, and ignore all the possibilities that the future holds for them. You'll be shocked to learn that some people still lament about mistakes that they made ten years ago and how it changed the trajectory of their lives ever since, they blame everything bad in their life on that silly mistake and believe with everything that they have that if they had not made the mistake, things would have been so much better for them.
Yet, when you ask them what they have managed to do since the ten years that they made the mistake, you won't get a good reply. Some people use their mistakes and failures to become better individuals in whatever they choose to do, but not these guys. They keep blaming themselves, worrying unnecessarily when they should be focusing on making their lives better.
And then, another thing I would never worry about is the future. Yeah, I want a bright future where I will have all the goodies of life. But I'm not scared that it won't happen. Some people are so scared of what the future holds that they're scared of even trying to make it better for themselves. You'll see people who are scared to take risks because they're scared of repercussions. It's even more frustrating when it's done by young people with almost zero responsibilities, like what are you so worried about? Take that risk and live that life!!!
As long as it's something that sits right with my conscience and it's not a crime, if I want to do something, I do it. I don't waste too much time thinking about it because then you'll only be giving yourself reasons not to do it. And that will eventually work out against you because if you're not careful, you'll end up not doing anything at all.
So, my dear friends, instead of worrying, simply plan and strategize. Don't dwell on past mistakes and worry about the repercussion, instead work on making sure that the mistake doesn't define the rest of your life. Instead of worrying ceaselessly about the future, take it in your hands and decide what the future will be like for you. Only you have that power, worrying about it will get you nowhere and give you nothing.
We can do better and we MUST do better. This is the code that I live by and so far, it's been serving me well. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. That's why when something particularly upsetting happens, I'll just calm myself down and try to think straight. Because that is the only way I will take charge of the situation, not the other way around. There's no time for anything else.
Truly code plays a vital role in human life. Your principle about worrying is actually good. Thanks for this wonderful insight.
I'm glad...
Because worry doesn't do anything for the average person.
Is true my boss

code is such a thing which we don't generate manually. It generate automatically based on our personalities.
I believe that thinking too much about future and being scared of it is pointless. I think we will have a way to deal with future issues in that time. We should not bother ours present time for it.
Exactly, when the future comes, we deal with it. That's better than worrying over what might never even end up happening.
Hmmmm... Blaming every failure on the mistakes of the past is very common. One bad thing about it is that it prevents one from concentrating on the present necessary effort to better the future. You nailed the points.
As in ehn...
That is one annoying fact about the entire thing. We really need to get ourselves together.
Seriously...
