I Present Cafe Vollmer

After the New Year's Eve celebration, I had not left home, but this time I went with my husband to do some shopping that we had pending; we were near the area of San Bernardino in Caracas-Venezuela, in the middle of our shopping, there came a time, as always our energies were low, then at once we started looking for a cafeteria, that would attract us to take a break and resume our errands. But to feel comfortable, this must have some very precise characteristics, the main thing, a quiet atmosphere that invites us to enter, it must be a place that provides comfort in its furniture, cleanliness and variety in its products, but above all, it must have a good lighting, for my pictures hahahahahahahaha, that can not be missing, apart from a decoration that is different and beautiful.

We walked around looking for it and we found the Vollmer Bakery-Café. At first, we thought it would be more bakery than cafe, but upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. Its interior complied with everything we expected from a coffee shop; they still had their Christmas decorations, so everything was even more illuminated in all areas. By the way, they had a great variety of coffees on their menu, according to the consumer's taste, and in their display cases all kinds of cakes, cookies, croissants, pastries of all kinds, besides the coffee they already offered. As my husband and I are used to, we ordered a brown coffee for him and a rich coffee with milk for me. When they brought us our orders, they accompanied it with a small portion of cake, which was the ideal accompaniment to our coffees.

While we were having our coffees, we had a pleasant surprise, some very popular characters in our Christmas culture entered the place and they were the three kings, Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar; who are expected and celebrated on January 6 and are the ones who bring the last Christmas gifts, especially to children, usually handing out candy, toys, among other things. These characters entered singing Christmas carols and filling the place with music and songs. Many of those present, like me, were ready to take pictures of them and others took video of them; at the end of their presentation, the deserved applause was not long in coming. That complemented my feeling that we were not in the wrong place.

They came to illuminate, along with the Christmas lights, even more, the whole place, with their colorful costumes and smiles. This is my participation in The Coffee Shop Prompt - Week 46. Greetings my dear friends!
