BRO Highlights | (8th) Weekly Edition

In this post, we will be giving you some posts curated by @brofi that caught our attention. We are not quantity but quality based humour, weird knowledge, diversity, and we don't mind lengthy posts at all, however, we are looking for more than just words.

You earn the BRO curation by holding bro, the more you have, the more you get. Still, we look out for quality and not shit posts. Holding Bro doesn't guarantee you votes if you do not give quality material. Without further delay, in no particular order, here are some posts that caught our eye over the past week:

LPUD & Teasers (Integrations) by @ifarmgirl

Meanwhile, with real life taking much of my attention these days, I am out of the loop with many things here on-chain and I feel a bit lost whenever I come across (read) something new - like this teaser by Khal two days ago. I thought it was an exciting development so I gave it a rethread and it would be easy for me to re-visit.

Random Spiel, Work From Home Miracle by @adamada

I've been thinking about the work from home setup and how much it changed how people approached work. It's not for everybody and every business but I can see how much this setup is a fantasy for introverts who just want to be productive while at the comforts of their own home.
After studying remote work for four years, they’ve concluded: working from home makes us happier
So which businesses do come out as the losers from the work from home setup? the ones owning the buildings offering the rental spaces, and the businesses surrounding those buildings. It turns out when you put people working at home, there's less reasons to rent out large office spaces that costs money and less foot traffic to local businesses.

Garden pests, Negrilla by @florakese

image.png

Pests are a problem for the horticulturist, but they are part of nature and we must learn to live with them. It is a mistake to try to eliminate them completely with products that in the long term will be much more harmful to us, causing serious illnesses. In this series of articles I will talk about how to deal with these small, undesirable living beings.

Splinterlands | This Melee monster will give your opponent hell by @mango-juice

image.png

COMMANDER SLADE is a monster type card that comes under the Latest Rebellion edition card set and it is a Reward type card that is a powerful choice for players mainly as a front defence. This monster belongs to the Water elements and costs a whooping 10 mana to be used in battles, so you can select this card when playing Medium to High mana limit matches. Its attack type is melee and it is a Rare type card, so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to its max level. Now looking at its performance, it is an overall high stats holding card that comes with good defensive abilities which I am about to talk about below. Let us now take a look further into its league wise stand and abilities at below.

Satisfying Myself from this Law Law Ice Cream during a hot weather by @vinzie1

image.png

When the weather here is hot, we are looking for something that is refreshing and something like drinking some cold juice, water, or going outside to feel the breezy air for us to make ourselves cool from the weather.
There is this another new food store that has been opened for several days now and it's a yogurt ice cream store that is called the LAW LAW by Coftea. This is inspired by the famous yogurt ice cream in the Philippines called llao llao and that's where they get the idea.

Different kind of students in the examination hall by @burlarj

image.png

It is funny how nothing makes sense until during exam time, all the topics that have been taught started to make sense to me as I read them... God bless the person who introduced the examination, if not most students' brains will be empty and this is not because they are dullards, it is just because most won't see the need to read, and if you leave the book, it will leave you too...
I did the exam for 6 courses, and my first 2 papers were the best, in fact, the 2nd one was the best out of the six because the lecturer gave us AOC and I made sure to read all and when I saw the exam questions, I couldn't help but smile because it was exactly what I read that came out, so it was just me pouring out what I digested into the answer booklet, A1 is guaranteed for the course but I won't count my eggs before they hatch, so waiting mode activated!
