Alright folks, so we have been busy!

Our top player @burlarj tells us that it's no longer possible to play in the top tiers of splinterlands anymore because we lack the rebellion set. I did want to get us some of those but it's just not possible to do so in the state that we are in currently. Perhaps in 2026 after next bull market. Who knows.

Anyway, so I have undelegated all our cards from @browarrior and I have taken them back to our main account. I've put them to work by renting them out for a couple of seasons. The logic behind this is that we need quite a lot of dec to get our cards on all our 100 plots.

Even then I do not think we have enough cards to put on all 100. We will see and time will tell. But what is apparent is that we will need a literal fuckton of dec to make it happen. So right now we're looking to convert any profit we get into dec.

Currently I've been playing with our stack of cards and renting -- I haven't managed to set them all yet, but we're doing a good 2000 Dec per day at the moment. Bear in mind I only did this an hour ago and it will take time for more to be listed, and people to rent.

I'm hoping we can make 5-7,000 Dec per day eventually when I have them all up there. More if the rental market picks up.

Basically I'm looking to rent these out until we have an adequate amount of dec to stash on our lands so that we can put our cards down. I do think as time passes these will become more and more valuable because eventually Lands will be the only way to get anything from splinterlands.

Right now it's the splinterlands team that is issuing the tokens, cards, and other stuff, but I suspect that after a year lands will take the place of the minting process and we will see a whole array of new things come which will make lands infinitely more valuable.

Lands

Right now I'm mining grain. The lands economy seems to be a little backwards. You can buy 1 piece of grain for 1 dec but you cannot sell any grain (only do it otc), however I am mining at least 100,000 grain every day with my 5 plots of land as you can see in the screenshot below:

4,850 Grain per hour, which works out at 116,400 Grain per day. If that was 1:1 value available in a swap it would mean that I was mining 116,400 Dec per day.

BUT.

If I switch all of these sites to mining sps I would be mining just over 100 sps per day. My only guess is that sps is mining as if it was on $1.

It's all very confusing. I can't work out any future margin until I have a market price for grain and not an otc one, which is currently levelling out at a similar price to what sps is currently.

You could say I was overestimating this but do bear in mind I have some of the highest priced cards in the game staked on legendary land all with 100% boosts. But we'll see.

So I've decided to mine some grain in the end. Given that it's on par with dec when bought, and that all our workers need it, and it will be used for a lot of things later in the game I'm deciding to stack that. I've taken that risk, because we have close to 100,000 sps already.

In the last two days that I have been solely mining grain I've stacked about 200,000 of it. I'll just keep going too.

So splinterlands is getting quite exciting now. But this is where we are and how we are getting on and getting set up for better days in the future.
