Sometimes it's not just about the money.

Today in the mancave we joked about my ridiculous past investments and some of the high risk ventures I've taken part in. It was aimed at me of course, but sometimes a bit of taking pot shots at the owner is what's needed to alleviate the stress of some things.

I'll admit, whilst I've tried hard I've also made some stupid decisions which have come to bite me back in the arsehole at a later date. That being said I'm not too proud to recognise when I've been wrong and to stifle descent. Sometimes things need to be said and people need to be heard -- and that's how you create a community.

Sure, I could tell everyone to shut the hell up, we are 400% over initial BRO price and we are up (way up) through the initial sales figures, but that doesn't distract from the fact that I have made a few mistakes and I should be open to talking about them and making a back up plan for my back up plan.

There are several. I kid you not. This is my life's work so I'm not just going to roll over and let something very cool which I've created die an honourable death. We still have several good plays left in our bag.

That being said we've been left with Marky and his AI giving us some very detailed and quite amusing depictions of how people in our community are reacting to my new crazy investment scheme of buying tokenized dildos. It's quite funny if you like a bit of dark humour.

Most of us in the cave have never really been shy about talking about what we think. I've always encouraged that. If you think I'm stupid and I need to be suffocated in my sleep then you should absolutely come tell me that. I'm all ears. I do believe that from every negative interaction with someone there's always something to be learned from it.

It's an open place to say what you think, and it's tilted to the good. I'm still a believer that humanity is tilted to goodness. Most people want to do what's "right" it's just that everyone has a different version of what right is - that's one of humanities biggest problems. Who is right? What is right?

That's why I do believe tolerance to some degree is the way forward. The only thing I will not tolerate is people that don't tolerate others. You'll get booted out if you come to my place and you think certain people should be quiet because of the opinions they hold. We are a respectful place, and that's not respectful to the common decorum.

Just like Javier Milei recently said on one of his radio talk shows. That you can't give Communists an inch, or they'll take a mile. And like such I heavily disagree with complete tolerance.

I recognise that, and it's why I give everyone the right to say anything they want to me. I'll answer any dm, talk to anyone, just try and foster a sense of togetherness. Those that come and stay will appreciate it for the good it does.

Sometimes it doesn't work out. You know? That's fine. There are plenty more places to go on hive that will suit your needs. That's the beauty of hive. There's a community for almost everyone these days. I expect the bull run will show more of that too!
