Welcome to the BRO Newspaper this Sunday. Today we bring you the smallest news, with the biggest laugh. It's a quite time for news about BRO and / or Legion. But we still manage to find tiny bits of news.

So how did you guys like our new website? If you haven't seen it yet, please check BROFI. One of the interesting things about the website is that it's not fully completed, and never will be. The intention is to keep adding new information. We also have plans to create a connectable back end where you can see some stats. Yeah, stats and projects is the plan because we know you guys love to see numbers and graphs.

And another piece of interesting information for you guys. We don't know when it's going to happen yet, but at some point in the future we will introduce a governance voting system through here. Anyone who holds BRO or LGN will have a say on our direction.

NUMBERS DON'T LIE

We all know that BRO holders get Hive dividends every week! Don't worry, it's not a secret code language, it's just very simple. The more BRO you have in your wallet, the higher your share of the dividend pool will be. Of course everyone likes a graph from time to time, so in this graph I have made the total dividends per week visible to you. Enjoy!

LGN Divs
Well, since the LGN divs are given out once a month, you didn't expect to see them this week, right? We're coming closer to the end of the month. And that actually reminds me to say that in a few days from now, the LGN price will go up again.

If you are reading this, and don't own BRO or LGN but also want a piece of the pie, the only thing you need to do is holding BRO and/or Legion in your wallet. Of course you can buy both tokens from the market.

BURL'S BROWARRIOR SPLINTER UPDATE

The Splinterlands Season is about to end today, few hours after it's my regular time to post the BRO Newspaper. That knowledge left me in making a decision, because I didn't want to rush our player, nagging in his DM for a whole Sunday, reminding him to send me the updates I decided to push the Splinterlands update to next week. Because of this @burlarj can take his time and I'll give you guys the updates you need to hear next week.

HIVE RELATED NEWS

Crypto ralleys are no longer an unknown concept to us. Hive has rallied many times before, and will certainly have many more rallies to come. Even if this wouldn't happen on the crypto market with the Hive price, it's happening on the track in the Hive Rally Car today!

In the latest update from @lordbutterfly we can see the car in action, and he talks about his time on the track in Croatia where he handed out some promotional material.

Also, between the lines is an update on the FREECHAIN movie that is being worked on.

WHO ARE THOSE DRAGONS

Last week we spotlighted @stickupboys, and by their special request, we've got none other than the legendary @silverstackeruk in this week's Bro paper. @silverstackeruk is a man with many talents and even so many projects. Are you curious what he has to say? Here are his witty and wise words!

None of these answers can be considered financial advice. Always do your own research!

1.) If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?

Superman. Who else? Why? Because he can freaking fly and is invincible. I could have my morning coffee in Italy, walk the dog around one of the 7 wonders of the world late morning, get a big Ulster fry lunch early afternoon in Northern Ireland, build 100 homes in some 3rd world country in the afternoon (good deed for the day) and back home in time for the wife’s dinner in the evening. My life would have no limits. I could find billions of $ worth of gold in shipwrecks laying in the ocean and give it all away in a few hours. I could fly to Putin, grab him and stick a go pro to his head and then throw him as hard as I could up! and we could all watch live as his head goes pop in space in a few minutes later. I could do anything, cleaning up the world’s oceans, throwing all nuclear weapons into space or fixing world hunger all in a few days work.

I would also have a kick ass fortress of solitude to ponder my many thoughts.

2.) If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

Damn, that’s a hard one. For only 1 day, my motivations would have to be financially motivated. I can’t do much good in 1 day and I don’t really care to see life through some celebrity eyes. Someone super rich that has a bad accountant like a really powerful drug cartel boss are something on his day off. If I could get a lot of BTC and transfer it to myself, that would be cool.

3.) If you could have any three wishes granted, what would they be, and why?

Id wish for GOD powers. With God powers, the world would get 8 hours of dark and 16 hours of lights every day and it would rain for 2 hours every night. Anything that is not alive would be edible, there would be no disease, and everyone would get a moderately sized mansion with a small swimming pool and BBQ pit in the back garden. Also, you could not hurt yourself. You fall off a mountain, no problems, the ground is soft. You fall off a boat, no worries, the water is breathable. Shoot, blown up, whatever, no worries. You be right as rain when you wake up after a night sleep. We’d all get 120-150 years to live to add some randomness.

Don’t need to other 2 wishes, pay them forward.

4.) What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?

Hmm, first thing that pops to mind is when I was away on a trip when I was 14-15. It was a youth trip with about 25-30 people from local communities going away on an adventure weekend. It was a cross community thing to mix Protestants and Catholics. Anyways, there was a girl there that caught my eye and after dinner on the 1st night, everyone was out having a smoke. She asked if I smoked, and I said yes. I had smoked for a few weeks when I was 13 but stopped. Anyways, I take a ciggie and lite it up. I’m talking to her for maybe 90 seconds, and all is going good until suddenly I got a really light head and then a feeling in my stomach. I tried to firm it and play it cool, but I ended up throwing up all over her. Most of want into her hair. Her lovely, curvy blonde hair.

She never really spoke to me the rest of trip and I never seen her again.

5.) What is the best prank you’ve ever pulled?

I’m known for my April’s fools pranks I pull from the @spinvest account, but people are expecting those now after 3 straight years. For me the best pranks are the ones that work over and over.

_ At my old job, we used to get a lot of temp workers and when we got bored, we’d always send the temps to the maintenance yard. We’d tell them to ask for either a glass hammer, tartan paint or the classic long stand. We’d look out through the fire door and see the temps standing at the yard door for 15-20 mins in the freezing cold wearing just a t shirt getting there “long stand”. Ba-ha-ha. I wish I had my old phone handy, and I could share a compilation video, ha-ha._

6.) Of course, for you THE serious questions too, what made you decide to become a BRO Dragon and how do you see the future for BRO and Legion?

I invested SPI into BRO pretty much as soon as it launched. I remember I bought around 2500 BRO and then did a straight swap with Ray for 1500 BRO with 1500 SPI as they were both around the same price of 2 HIVE at the time.

My main reason for investing into BRO was because SPI was focusing on building non-HIVE investments at the time and BRO was solely focused on HIVE projects. Ray was investing into things I would never invest into, not because they are bad investments but because either I don’t understand them, or they were not of my interest. I don’t bother with gaming that much, but BRO had a very strong dCity account and SPI has exposure to that through its BRO stake. Also back then, BRO was the second fund token to release on HIVE and to be blunt, I wanted SPI to own a slice of the competition if BRO turned into competition.

Around 18-24 months back, I reduced SPIs position from 4000 BRO down to 1500. This reduction was purely for liquidity reasons. At 1 point, SPI was holding $20k worth of BRO tokens when its daily HE volume was under $100 a day. As for BRO’s future, I think it’ll be good if Ray can focus more on building up blue chip assets and define a clear a line between BRO’s assets and his personal assets.

As far as LGN, I don’t really understand what it is. Is it a growth token, utility token or income token? SPI gets some airdropped each day and we stack it, its currently paying out a 12% APY dividend in HIVE so no reason to sell it. I do like the buy back and liquidity offered with LGN.

7.) Now that we have become more serious, you are doing a lot projects here on Hive. Can you tell the readers briefly what projects and things you have going on at the moment?

I run a few projects so people can click on the account names and see the latest reports from each account to get a better understanding of what they do.

In short,

• SPI is the flagship growth token for SPinvest, everything funnels/drips into SPI.
• EDS is a HIVE income tokens that are pegged to 1 HIVE each and currently paying a 34% APY.
• XV is still on sale for 2 more weeks. This is a 2-year basket investment into 15 cryptos ranked within the top 50 by market cap. The idea is we buy top tier crypto now while on sale and hold for 2 years until 2025. In July 2025, I sell the basket and convert it all into HIVE and buyback XV tokens at inflated prices.
• LBI is the LEO growth investment token. It’s not been performing great as LEOs price decline is never endings. I guess 45% inflation, buggy frontends, broken bridges and a bunch of broken promises will do that. I have filth the project will do still do well based off its non-LEO holdings but it’s not ideal at the minute.
• CL is a defi based LEO income token. Funds on used on BSC within defi platforms to produce yields. 50% of these yields are converted to LEO and issued to CL token holders. The remaining 50% is reinvested into more defi assets.
  
  

What would be the most important thing in general you'd want to say to everyone here on HIVE?

Please build something on HIVE. Decide what you would like for HIVE to have and then build your vision. This is the best way for each of us to add value to the blockchain.

I created SPI tokens because I was looking to invest into a fund token on HIVE, but it did not exist. I created all the tokens under SPinvest because these are tokens, I wanted to invest into but did not exist. That is why I hold so many of my own tokens. I buy them as well, the some as everyone else, no free tokens for me.

The best thing each of us can do is create something on HIVE. I had no experience of running backed asset tokens before I started SPinvest, I got that experience from doing it. Use your initiative and create opportunities for yourself. Ask for help and put in the hours. HIVE is still a small blockchain and chances to be the first to do something is more likely than not. Hive-Engine makes it easy for anyone to create a token, a tribe, do airdrops, create NFT’s, whatever. It’s all there for the taking and those that use the resources available will reap the fruits of their labour if they can us them to create something of value.

• There aren't that many people who can teach our @traciyork something. Quite the contrary, many people can learn something from her. But this week something suddenly came up, there is someone who can teach our Traci something, and that turns out to be none other than our own @raymondspeaks. Would that be a golden combination? Traci and Ray monetizing traditional social media together?
  
  

• Some people have unexpected talents. This is how @thisismylife turns out to speak a nice word across more than one border. I know from her that she can speak a pretty word of at least 5 languages, but how is it possible that she lived in a country for about 4 years but in al those years, she really didn't want to understand any of the language? Missed opportunities, but if she missed them is not so sure. It could also be that the country missed the opportunities to have her now that she's left the country.
  
  

• Skippy, THE project that keeps delivering. And however bitter it may be, the project does indeed continue to deliver, only this time the project delivered a hefty tax bill.
