Finance and General Update: How we're doing!

A few months ago a lot of our users started to become worried about how we are doing overall as a project. Somehow the idea was floating around that all of our funds were gone and that we were dying. I put that to rest eventually, but I'd like to update the wider community (and our current users) where we are, how we're doing, and where it's going from there.

After all, you'd like to know, right?

We have shifted from our original starting point where we were an index token and have adapted with the times; we are so much more now.

We have four tokens under our wing and a slew of other ideas coming our way when we have the funds to see them into reality. But for now the market is apprehensive, and trying to get anyone to buy anything is sort of like a hard sell. Especially on a blockchain where the inflation is given out for free.

We have a different mentality here on hive, which in a way is actually a good thing. I wish more blockchains would see it that way, but that's a different story.

Anyway, to highlight some of the changes we've made we have brought on two lovely staff members from the Neoxian City community who now work with our external accounts.

Welcome to @deraaa & @jhymi

Deraaa and Jhymi now do a fantastic job with our @brosonleo and @cinetv accounts.

Dera, our @brosonleo strategist has been making use of the 70,000 Leo that was delegated to us by Leofinance - she makes use of all there is on Leo, and curates our community with our account. She's even been doing competitions with everyone if you're interested in spending a LGN here or there to win back some of our tokens.

@Jhymi on the other hand is part of our CineTV overhaul. I'm not going to talk about this much, but she will be part of our team that are going to spend the next several months re-energizing @cinetv - and there's going to be lots of updates and fun things to do with this one when we're ready to go, so stay tuned.

You should say hi to them on our discord. They are fun and bubbly.

Finance

So far, we're doing good. It may look like we've died a horrible death, but au contraire, we've been slowly building our profits week by week, month by month, right now, as it stands we're hauling in around this:

Screenshot_62.jpg

After expenses, this is 433.20 hive per week we are growing by. Right now the profit is low because dev costs are in USD and hive is low. If hive were x2, or x3, our growth would be exponentially higher.

@SilverstackerUK also reports that our share from the RUG/DBOND/DABs is growing by around 200 Hive per week also. So that's roughly 600 Hive per week we are growing by, and that's including after everything is paid and sent off to dividends.

Not as bad as you thought, huh?

Oh but there's more!!

We still have quite a bit of assets left over:

We have around $14,000 USD in splinterlands cards, and our land worth is roughly around ~$4000 usd.

Which is $18,000 USD (or) 90,473 Hive.

Our total HP across ALL projects is around 31,000 HP

And we have around $8,000 in various assets (or) 40,000 Hive

So roughly, all assets, across everything right now - would be this:

$32,000 USD (roughly)

Which is: 160,841 Hive. (and growing by around 600 Hive per week)

So looking good, kids. We are prime placed for a bull run about now. It's going to be a good one.

sometime its not about asset growth, how much liquid in your hand can be crucial. I have seen many good capital growth failing because they need to pay utility such as electricity and providing food for their family.

Not too sure how that's relevant here? :)

Most asset in hive engine are trading close to zero nice to see big project still hanging on! Although am powering down my accounts but will definitely reinvest by next month by DC. If one hold LGN does he/she gets upvote from the community curation account

2.33 HIVE per token ABV with a 19.3% estimated cashflow at that price.

We're not just a dividend token anymore. There's so much more to holding BRO than just the price.

(Edited)

A more robust view might be "assets under management" backed value, including the ~298,000 HIVE on @brofi. Of course 290k of this is delegated but it would add 4.324 HIVE per token of value, giving a total (AUM)BV of 6.654 HIVE per BRO token.

This would lower the free cashflow number to 6.8% annual estimate.
