Building Transparency in The BRO Ecosystem
I've always been one for transparency.
If you've sat in my community for longer than a year then you'll know I'm quite known for announcing information when I have it. I do it this way because it makes everyone feel that I'm not hiding anything from them.
I've been in project management for a long time. I worked in two places in the Mental Health sector that valued secrecy and information withholding as something of the highest priority. And yes, I get why this is needed, one must be aware of their competitors and people that want to use my words against me.
But I've always believed that sunlight is the best disinfectant. That is the way it has to be when you're working with me. 100% Transparency or nothing at all. That way my investors (or potential investors) have all the information they need to invest (or not), and have the peace of mind that I'm fighting for them.
When transparency fades then it begins to become a problem. Sure, I mean, there are things we are working on and testing out behind the scenes but whenever it involves YOUR money then you'll be the first to know.
That's where a lot of tokens fail, and have crumbled in the past because of this issue. There's a token that I'm in right now that spent a good portion of a year lying to its customer base that it will take a LOT of convincing to get it back in the good books.
Some tokens just think the team is all that matters and the community are plebs -- but the reality of it is without a community then you have no token. It doesn't matter if you have the best tokenomics in the world and a token that will literally bring world peace and invents resources out of thin air -- without a community it will fail. Without a happy community it will fail.
This is what governments right now are failing in. They are not listening to their communities (the people) and because they aren't, they will ultimately fail. One thing is for sure is that things are about to get shaken up over the next four years. I'm still unsure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, time will tell. But exciting nonetheless.
Remember this if you're ever starting a project. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Don't be dishonest with your community. If you fucked up, admit it; people are human, they understand mistakes too. They'll also forgive you for them if you're trying to make it right!
Peace :)

The interesting in regards to that, that i have seen happening, is that some projects that started big, made a great fanbase, people that invested etc etc and for any reason after a while they started slowly not being that transparent the community even stepped up to help/take over.
Thus, imagine what someone could do being full transparent and creating an awesome community!
