Rise Of The Pixels

I'm really excited about Rise Of The Pixels, a Web3 game on $HIVE where you run a game development company and assemble teams of developers & designers to create awesome games. The game starts in the "8bit era", where we'll be building games that'll really hit that nostalgia bone (at least for those of us in our 30s or above...).

Your team can equip items to increase their skills, helping you make the best possible games. Every team member and item you collect are NFTs.

The game is being developed by some of the folks behind #PeakD and #PeakMonsters, and already has beautiful design elements reminiscent of those products.

The game is currently in Beta, and there is an environment set up enabling users to try out the various features before it goes live. The developers have been progressing quickly and adding features to the Beta progressively. The team includes @asgarth, @jarvie, @yozen, and @jfuji. AI is liberally used for the art, and so far everything looks absolutely gorgeous.

There will be a token associated to the project ($PXL tokens) as well as an in-game currency ($PXL coins).

8bit era packs are currently available for purchase in the shop, at a price of $3 of $HIVE per pack. I've bought 100 packs and am considering getting some more. These are the Alpha packs of ROTP, and if the game takes off they will likely be very valuable.

I can't wait to see this game develop further and to start releasing games when it goes live!
