What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, this time I bring you a fan art of the Angel Of Light card is the first time I do a fan art of it so I did my best to achieve a good result in the painting of this card, originally this would be the second version I did since I was making an illustration which I discarded completely because I considered that it had too many anatomical problems due to problems of the perspective I was trying to emulate.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, esta vez les traigo un fan art de la carta Angel Of Light es la primera ve que hago un fan art de ella asi que du lo mejor posible para lograr un buen resultado en el pintado de esta carta, originalmente esta seria la segunda versión que hice ya que estaba realizando una ilustración la cual descarte por completo porque considere que tenia demasiados problemas anatómicos por problemas de la perspectiva que estaba tratando de emular.

When I had the sketch ready I decided to place the base colors of the body, skin, clothes and hair, in fact the first things I decided to finish was the painting of the face, so I took great pains to give a good result from the beginning, likewise with the painting of the hair and with the work of lights of the face and body in general, after finishing much of the painting of the body I started working on the painting of wings and shading of the body.

Cuando ya tenia listo el boceto decidí colocar los colores bases del cuerpo, la piel, la ropa y el cabello, de hecho las primeras cosas que decidí terminar fue el pintado de la cara, así que me esmere muchísimo en dar un buen resultado desde el comienzo, así mismo con el pintado del cabello y con el trabajo de luces de la cara y el cuerpo en general, después de terminar gran parte del pintado del cuerpo comencé a trabajar en el pintado de alas y en el sombreado del cuerpo.

When I considered I was done I stayed a while looking at the final result of my illustration and I really wasn't happy with the painting of the wings, I felt it was a very basic and badly done painting so I decided to repaint from scratch all of them keeping the same shape but if changing all the feathers, it was an almost total change of them, I had tried to do something similar before but I had never got as close as I did now, I am now able to be able to mix pastels correctly and not make it extremely difficult to achieve a good finish of whatever I am painting at that moment, also before changing the wings I feel that I exaggerated a lot with some lights and shadows that I placed, I had oversaturated the drawing, luckily I had an editable saved file that allowed me to solve all these problems.

Cuando considere que había terminado me quede un rato viendo el resultado final de mi ilustración y realmente no estaba contento con el pintado de las alas, sentí que era un pintado muy básico y mal hecho así que decidí volver a pintar desde cero todas las manteniendo la misma forma pero si cambiando todas las plumas, fue un cambio casi total de ellas, antes había intentado hacer algo similar pero nunca me había acercado tanto como ahora, ya soy capaz de poder mezclar correctamente los colores pasteles y que no se me haga extremadamente difícil poder lograr un buen acabado de lo que sea que este pintando en ese momento, también antes de cambiar las alas siento que exagere mucho con unas luces y sombras que coloque, había sobresaturado el dibujo, por suerte tenia un archivo guardado editable que me permitió resolver todos estos problemas.

Already with the new painting of the wings that I did I am really very happy, it is a step further to where I want to get as an artist, although I only saved two photos of these new wings, without exaggerating it took much more time than the others, reviewing and refining each of the colors and also try to take care as best as possible not to exaggerate again with the brightness or saturation, I just wanted to get a heavenly atmosphere, something mystical with a very clean brightness in the background.

Ya con el pintado nuevo de las alas que hice realmente estoy muy contento, es un pasito mas a donde quiero llegar como artista, si bien solo guarde dos fotos de estas nuevas alas, sin exagerar tarde muchísimo mas que las otras, repasando y refinando cada uno de los colores y así mismo trate de cuidar lo mejor posible no volver a exagerar ni con los brillos ni la saturación, solo quería conseguir un ambiente celestial, algo místico con un brillo muy limpio en el fondo.
