THE #BEERSATURDAY CHALLENGE- The king of Beers.

"This is the famous Budweiser beer. We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which is brewed and aged with so much effort. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a superior taste, smoothness, and drinkability."

The above written words are the inscription you'll find in a bottle or Can of a Budweiser beer.

Just yesterday, as I went to get groceries I'll be needing at home, I caught sight of the king of beers in the refrigerator. I love this beer!!

It was a free day from all work activities and I needed to relax. I was convinced my Budweiser, "brewed by (their) original process from the choicest hops, rice and best barley malt" would be a great company. So I picked it alongside other items and paid with HBD (Hive dollars).

It's the holidays and as such, many neighbors have traveled to their respective hometowns. I'm always happy in situations like this. Some peace and quiet, at last!!

No children shouting at the top of their voices, no parents to scold them, no sound of noisy generators due to constant power supply. Everywhere just feels so peaceful, calm and inviting.

I got home, took out my Budweiser beer while relaxing on my sofa and enjoyed myself while listening to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. It was a wonderful moment, I thought about life and how the choices we make could really affect us either for the better or the worse. I love the smooth taste of Budweiser.

Let me tell you how Budweiser became my favorite beer....

A few years back, I visited a bar for some bottles of beer with my friends. I ordered for a bottle of HERO, which at the moment was my favorite larger beer. But fortunately, it was out of stock.

You might wonder why I said 'fortunately', Yes, sometimes in life, most disappointments turn out to be blessings.

A friend of mine noticed I wasn't really happy that I couldn't get my beer. He inquired if I've tried out the BUDWEISER. He had been taking this beer for a while now and have made it his beer brand. He invited me to take one bottle to be sure of its goodness and that I did. Behold! my new beer brand!

But then, one historic incident made me love Budweiser even more...

As a football lover, I've always admired many legends who have written their names in the record books as the best amongst others...

One of these legends is Lionel Messi. While opinions might differ, the 'king of beer' sees this football legend as the 'undisputed king of football', hence, he became one of their ambassadors.

Surprisingly, Budweiser celebrated Lionel Messi's departure from Barcelona in an outstanding way. Since the footballer had 644 club goals at the moment, Budweiser distributed 644 bottles of beer to the more than 150 goalkeepers he scored against, each goalkeeper got as much bottles of beer as the goals he conceded. Great goalies like Gianluiggi Buffon and David de gea received theirs.That was tremendous on their part.

At that moment, I developed more love for the brand and resolved to make it my favourite beer till yet another interests me more than it does. But until then, I stand with the king of beers!! I stand with Budweiser.
