My First experience in SpendHBD and onboarding a friend to HIVE and SpendHBD

Wow!! What a day!! I decided to see for myself today and it was worth it!!

For a while now I've been a part of the Hive community, and I must confess, it's really my pleasure to be here. But, for a while now I've seen some of my friends Spend Hive dollars and get discounts with the help of the distriator. I was intrigued, I decided to see for myself. What am I even saying? I decided to try it out myself, and behold! it was fascinating!!

Introducing and Onboarding a friend

The butterflies I felt in my stomach when I learnt about SpendHBD moved me to tell @ugoglory about Hive and SpendHBD. Who wouldn't be jumping for joy to learn that they could get a discount by just purchasing random stuffs they buy on a regular? Of course, she was interested to join. Who would have known that I was telling her of what (SpendHBD) I haven't tried out myself?

Before we left for Shokin, we stopped by @focusnow's office, for her onboarding and needed instructions on how SpendHBD works. It wasn't a surprise that we met other friends who were eager to smile home with their discounts as we intended. We took some pictures at the office before heading out.

Our experience at God's Own Supermarket

God's Own Supermarket is a fully stuffed store in my city, Aba. Nigeria. One interesting thing I observed about shopping at this Supermarket is the controlled price of items we purchased, they never added any money even when they knew we would be getting a discount. Their service? Top notch.

I bought Bread, a bar of Ivory soap, an air freshener, a tooth paste, Nutri Yo yogurt and a Blueseal petroleum jelly. Which costs 2.688 Hive dollars. I received a discount of 0.403 Hive dollars. My friend @ugoglory also made her own purchase and received her 15% discount like I did.

Making payments with the Hive keychain and claiming my discounts with the distriator was swift, very fast. After everyone who came around made their purchases, we took some pictures and headed home with smiles on our faces.

My verdict on SpendHBD

SpendHBD as far as I'm concerned is the gold. I'll continue to shop and of course invite my friends to enjoy the benefits with me. Shopping have never felt interesting like it did today. A special shoutout to the SpendHBD team and of course Hive in general.
