Perhaps this will be a word for me to tell my in-law, the younger brother to my wife who just lost his wife to Postpartum hemorrhage.
I will give you some advice for you and your family. Let him grieve in his own way. There is no wrong way. Do NOT try and change his grieving. Everyone does it different. Support, do not judge or think you need to intervien.
I feel for you. I don't know what it's like but I have seen family go down this path. Gotta stay strong and keep those memories alive!
