It was cool at the time because I was young and they were flying me all over the country. I had never been on a jet before that. The work was pretty easy (just moving home directories over and stuff like that), and I actually learned a lot. They were just getting ready to buy a company in China and the Philippines when I took a job at a different place.

Yeah young and traveling is pretty good. I wouldn't flip out if I had to travel right now, but I would highly prefer not to lol. It would've been cool to go to the Philippines though! I'm all set with China, but the Philippines would've been sweet!
Yeah, it would have been cool to have on my resume and memory list, but I was also pretty nervous about it at the time too given the geo-political climate even back then. Turns out the deal fell through and they never ended up sending anyone, so I am glad I didn't pass on the other job just because of that.
