Building Something Awesome

About seven months ago I was talking to @a4xjeeper and he confided in me that he had recently bought a new building for his business. He explained that he was trying to keep it a bit of a secret since he had already had another colleague snag another piece of property from underneath him. Then proceeded to offer to rent him the space. Can you believe that?!

Anyway, he was still pretty excited about the purchase and wanted to tell someone, so I was one of the lucky few who knew ahead of time.

Fast forward to a little over a month ago and he finally took possession of the building. I was talking to him and I let him know that I wanted to do a walkthrough of the new building he plans on using for his handyman business.

This will move a lot of the chaos away from his home and give him space to expand as well. I think it's going to be a great move for him.

I'll be sharing photos of the inside of the building throughout this post. He still hasn't started the whole blogging thing yet, so I am being his proxy. I should probably give him some beneficiary rewards or something like that shouldn't I?

It is time again for another Finance Friday/Friday Finance. This is a series I started where I talk about random bits of financial stuff that I have seen, gathered, or experienced during the week. I hope as a reader you find it informational, entertaining, or both. I also hope it can generate some good discussion and edify the community.

It's probably done already since I took these photos, but he plans on having two large holes cut in the wall where you see the bricks. Those are going to be the bays where he can have his employees pull their work trucks in to store for the night. It will also give them a staging area to get things ready for their jobs in the morning.

It's a huge space that used to house a dollar store before he purchased it. There is a warehouse area in the back and offices as well. He plans on moving most of the offices up front though. The only drawback is the fact that he can't park any of his heavy equipment on the property because it is zoned as commercial and not industrial.

I saw a news story the other day that a "major" exchange is going to be delisting Cardano, Shiba, and XRP pairs. The funny thing is the exchange they named is one called OKX. I've don't know about you, but I have never heard of OKX before. It's not the first time this has happened and I think the fact that it is just pairs and not tokens that are being delisted is important.

It also sounds like they are being a little sus about the whole thing simply saying the pairs don't meet their criteria, but we have really little insight as to what that criteria is. It's funny that FUD like this is still trying to hold ground in a world that is slowly turning the corner on crypto adoption.

In other news, there is a lot of cool stuff happening here on HIVE. I've seen a lot of people complaining about HIVE lately and while I think some of their concerns are valid, I also think that we are building some really good things here and they deserve to be celebrated.

While other projects are struggling to to get by, there are a few that have become personal favorites of mine and I have been investing in them as heavily as my coffers will allow.

RUG/DBOND/DAB is one of the main ones started by the @brofi group and @silverstackeruk. They all kind of feed into each other, so investing in one is multiplied by investing in all of them. It just depends on how quickly you want to grow and accumulate.

I'm also leaning pretty heavy into the PWR token. There are supposedly some exciting things in the works for this token, so gathering as many as I can now is in my best interesting. Currently I am throwing everything into the liquidity pool. That seems to be giving a really decent return right now.

I'm also pretty excited about the PRECIOUS token through the #silvergoldstackers community. I was able to use some of them to pick up some tickets for the recent Monster Raffle. I think they plan on expanding more of the uses in the future too.

Finally, I am working on getting more BRO and LGN through the @brofi group again. They have a proven track record of tokens that retain their value even during the bear markets. That's a hard thing to do and something that you can really hang your hat on. Well done @raymondspeaks!

That's all I've got for you this week. I look forward to hitting you with more posts from Colorado next week. I hope you come back for it!

I probably need to pick up some PRECIOUS being an SGS member. I am sure we will start using it more eventually.

That's a great space he picked up, though his colleague really tried to screw him over! I hope it works out well for him!

PWR is looking good, we'll see how it works out here!

Fingers crossed right? Yeah, I couldn't believe it when he told me the story. I was like what a jerk.
