Sports Betting With Bozz: Are you ready for the Superbowl?

Sports Betting.png

It's been a bit of a week hasn't it? Hard to believe that we are only three days away from the Superbowl. I hope you have all of your stuff ready to go if you are going to have a party. Did you get your bets in? You still have time. If you are hoping to get onto a board, you might have trouble with that though.

I'm pretty sure the one board here on Hive already filled up. My brother in law reached out the other day asking if I wanted to get some squares on his board. I figured why not and Venmo'd him $20 for four squares. I think my numbers are looking pretty good right now, but you never know how unpredictable the big game can be!

If you aren't sure what I mean by a "board", head over to @summertooth's blog and get the low down.

I had a single bet that I placed on Sports Bet One this past week. It is a pretty cool platform and I need to start playing around with it a bit more. It's not like my EOS is doing anything useful otherwise. This was a bet that I followed of @fullcoverbetting. I'm pretty horrible at guessing the outcome of soccer games and he seems to have a pretty good pulse of the leagues over there across the pond.

I bet one EOS on these matches that I rolled together into a parlay and hitting on all of them earned me 4.2 EOS back. I'm still down from where I started given the fact that I got greedy with my first bet and threw 5 EOS at a parlay. I know better than that now. I need use the same strategy I use with my fiat currency.

I'm currently sitting at 483 EOS and it would be cool to grow this account to something like 1000 EOS through betting. We will see how that goes.

I had a bit of a struggle getting into my Draft Kings account this past week, so I didn't place any bets on that platform. I was getting an error that there was an attempted access to my account and I needed to change my password. It was a whole run around.

I eventually got it taken care of and my funds are SAFU, but by the time I was done, I had zero desire to place any bets on that app.

I only placed three bets on Fan Duel this past weekend and all of them were busts. As you can see from the picture above, it only cost me a total of $3, but none of the parlays hit and I was out of luck as far as winnings go. This was one of the rare occasions that Pickswise did me dirty.

In fact, as you can see, most of them were not even close to hitting. The good thing is I am still up a bit from the week before, so I am just going to have to do a better job in the future. I have a feeling I will be doing a bit more bets this coming weekend especially with the Superbowl happening and college basketball racing towards the tournament.

That's all I've got for this week. Take it easy and bet smart!
