Bozz Family Fantasy Football Week 3: SOS
I think comparing my fantasy team this year to the Titanic is probably not too far off. With a third loss behind me and not a single win, it seems that this ship is sinking and sinking fast.
I want to take a bit of an aside for a second and talk about something that I neglected to include in my NFL post yesterday. I don't know if you watched the Lions/Cardinals game, but I couldn't help but notice there was a huge number of Lions fans in attendance. It was practically a home game for them from what I could see.
I know that the Cowboys used to be considered Americas team, but could it be that the tide is slowly shifting towards the Lions? Just remember, I was a Lions fan even when they sucked!
Anyway, I need to move along with this because I am quickly losing steam and I am going to have to lay down for a nap soon. As you can see, I lost once again this week. This time it was against my nephew and it was actually a really weird series of events that led to this score.
Going into Monday night, I had something like 25 points and he had something like 35 points. I was still projected to win, but apparently, we both had the majority of our players participating in the Monday night games.
As you can see working from the bottom up, my defense didn't do me any favors. I have since dropped the Las Vegas defense and I picked up the Tennessee defense in a trade last night. Mcpherson has been doing a great job for me at kicker, so I have no complaints with him. As for the rest of my team, scores under 5 points are not going to get the job done. I have since dropped at least one of my running backs and am looking to swap out one of my wide receivers too.
As for Metcalf, it was nice to see him putting in the production I would expect. I've also been very impressed with Allen. He just continues to be a beast for me. I'd like to see him and Coleman connect a bit more.
As usual, my bench would have been zero help to me this past weekend. I have a feeling I am going to need to do a clearing of my bench players so that I can at least count on a little production when those bye weeks start coming in.
Even Goff has been mediocre.
The good news is, @mrsbozz got her first win this weekend, so she is no longer sitting with me down at the bottom of the rankings.
In fact, she has moved up to 8th place out of 12 teams. I would be in that 12th spot, but I am not the only team without a win this season. I share that honor with one of my sister in laws.
Hopefully things turn around for me or it is going to be a long season!
Tennessee defense.. 😆 🤣 😂.. no wonder you're last
Gotta be better than Las Vegas right? They had the most projected points of all the teams available. I didn't have much to choose from.
Uggh..
