Bossingclint Brawl Report 9 Nov

Introduction
Hey all, brawl had just completed one day before and now we are into the fray filling for the new brawl. I am so glad to have been able to be accepted into a guild that has much more participation. I think being able to play at this level and more exposure to matches, it definitely help me to learn more about the game and how to get better for future gameplay. And here it is, my brawl report for PIZZA 420 The Calzones.

Brawl Matches

The last one I took up on is a wild bronze fray which mean any card can be used. So let's dive in to the matches I had and do some reflections on how I can do better for next brawl.

Match 1:

Comment: This match, with seemingly low mana available, I choose a safe lineup that should seemingly help with with enough balance of tanking and also a sniper in Captain Katie. However, with no easy targets to snipe, it become a problem to take down opponent especially when there is Chwala with thorns. A opener loss.

Comment: Poison match means time is important. The longer we last the higher the chance of winning. However, when I saw what my opponent fielded. I saw Quora and I knew I definitely have no chance to win. Apologies for another loss.

Match 3:

Comment: This is an earthquake match, I do not have too much cards with flying hence I boosted the number of cards with armour so as to get longer survivability. The extra armour from Kelya itself and the additional protection from Venari Wavesmith and the renewal of armour from Swamp Spitter was all that was needed to get things back on track and clock the first win for me.

Comment: I tried to use Moxian Rebel to enable 2 cards to get magic attacks but with me facing a Thaddius, magic becomes less effective and essentially my opponent can do damage faster to me than I do to them. Strong play by my opponent. Another loss unfortunately.

Match 5:

Comment: Thorns match hence everything else is all range or magic attackers. To fit the mana range I only have the following hence it is rather limited on what I have to field. Against an Alric with a bunch of strong magic attackers, my lineup is no match for my opponent. Really tough to be with limited cards.

Comment: I fielded all my big hitting cards and attempted to wrap up the brawl and sure the cards did not disappoint me and came home with the win. The massive attacks were just too much for my opponent to handle.

Brawl Results

I am assigned 6 matches for this brawl of which I won all 2 of them once again similar to last brawl. (no fled enemy this brawl). And I manage to gather another 2 wins due to lack of participation from other guilds. In many of the losses that I've clocked, it was mainly due to lack of cards to field which ended up with me not having the right card for the right match.

We came in at 7 position again for this brawl, which is the same as previous. In terms of wins we are lower than the next in rank by 11 wins. Definitely this brawl is in a higher tier than that of what I've experienced in the past. Let's all get stronger together and aim to close at a higher ranking for the next brawl.
