The pan was on the stove. The flames were dancing under it because of the gentle breeze that was coming through the open windows.

A friend was working on wild asparagus shoots. Breaking them to separate the soft tops from the fibrous rest.

At one point I put a dead fish on the blue paper and took a couple of shots. The fish is the Trachinus draco. Today I created two simple photoshop edits from one of those photographs. You can see them here, of course.

Yum, that shrimp looks amazing. We definitely don't have shrimp shapes like that over here
