IN MY HOMETOWN, TEN YEARS AGO
(Edited)

In this opening shot, you can take a look at one of the narrow, old streets that lead from the main square of the old town to the church on the hill; the Church of St. Agnes, the biggest one in town. I didn't photograph the church back then in 2012.

This is some tall, decorative grass that still grows in the park near the harbor.

Here you can see some houses near the main square, near the heart of the old town. The photograph was taken on a winter morning when the fog that was crawling from the bay reached the town's center situated near the top of a small hill.

This is a detail of an old, rusted boat that is still visible in the mud of the bay, but only in January when the tide is exceptionally low.

This cat was photographed on the wall of my yard. The scene looked cool in black & white, so I desaturated the picture for this post.

Here you can see a very photogenic, and kinda mysterious phenomenon in the morning sky above the bay of Medulin. Can't tell you how these lovely stripes are formed.

This is my friend Emil. The photographs were taken in one of the meadows on the outskirts of town, just behind the last houses in my neighborhood.

In this photograph, you can see the main square of my hometown reflected in one of the Christmas spheres on the big, old deciduous tree, the Celtis australis, that was acting as a Christmas tree in that period. The tree is there, on the square, since 1905

This group of geese was swimming across the pond on the edge of town, only about 100 - 150 meters from my house.

This group of stones was photographed in the shallow water of the bay, along the shore of the Vizula peninsula, very close to the Medulin's harbor.
There isn't much to say about the images in this post. The photographs were taken in 2012, in various seasons of that year, all in Medulin, the small, seaside town in which I live. Enjoy.

Cool shots from Medulin. I like the golden one with the reeds silhouettes the most, it has a very nice and warm feel :)
Yes, the golden light in the morning or evening gives a lot to the scene.
Lovely pictures.✨ I have to google where Medulin is. It appears in Croatia. If google give it right 😂☺️
In this case 😀 Google was right.
Gosh, these stone-built houses look amazin, here I refer to the first picture, I really like such buildings.

What an amazing place this is! Awesome.
The morning sky shows us how great and how powerful God is in terms of creating anything he wishes.

Nice pictures, the cat was indeed cooler in black and white. Is it a fluke or is it just meant to be, there's another picture in one of your earlier posts about a cat under a car. It was in my opinion great in black and white😂.
Infact, it looks like the same cat😂
