Youtube censors Italian Prime Minister-elect's speech, Google claims it was just a mistake
Giorgia Meloni's electrifying speech at the World Congress of Families, English subtitles
Cassius' Youtube channel, 17 April 2019
The video above is a speech by Georgia Meloni, a newly elected Prime Minister of Italy. It was mysteriously censored by Youtube for a while, then restored. Google now claims it was just an innocent mistake.
What is interesting, as much as the left is trying to demonize Meloni as a horrible fascisst far-righter, some of her points are outright feminist. For example, she views the institute of surrogate mothers as exploitative and wishes to outlaw it. Overall, the speech is rather interesting and most of her speech is just a protest from the politically correct left's demonization of traditional institutions such as religion, family, etc.
The whole episode is still rather interesting - and telling. Either for the incompetence involved - if it was indeed an accident, or for its petty vindictiveness - in a far more likely event it was an act of deliberate censorship.

I am personally against any ban to freedom of speech. However, we should consider how right such fascist expressions are.
I am not well familiar with Meloni but so far I have heard nothing in her platform or policy proposals that I would call fascist. But even if she were one - that is obviously no grounds for censorship.
