🍑 Old-Fashioned Peach Cobbler 🍑 (ENG-ESP)

One of the things that we are best known for is peaches đŸ€€đŸ‘ Hopefully you are familiar with this soft, plump, juicy beauty as well. Today I decided to use this amazing fruit in a homemade old-fashioned peach cobbler. Come and follow along with me!



Una de las cosas por las que somos mĂĄs conocidos son los melocotones đŸ€€đŸ‘ Esperamos que tambiĂ©n estĂ©s familiarizado con esta belleza suave, regordeta y jugosa. Hoy decidĂ­ usar esta increĂ­ble fruta en un pastel de durazno casero a la antigua usanza. ÂĄVen y sĂ­gueme!


Firstly, here is a complete list of all of the ingredients we will use:

▱ 4 peaches, cored and sliced
▱ 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
▱ 1/2 teaspoon salt
▱ 6 tablespoons butter
▱ 1 cup flour
▱ 2 teaspoons baking powder
▱ 3/4 cup milk
▱ 1/2 cup walnuts
▱ Cinnamon
▱ Nutmeg



En primer lugar, aquĂ­ tienes una lista completa de todos los ingredientes que utilizaremos:

▱ 4 duraznos, sin corazón y en rodajas
▱ 1 1/2 taza de azĂșcar granulada
▱ 1/2 cucharadita de sal
▱ 6 cucharadas de mantequilla
▱ 1 taza de harina
▱ 2 cucharaditas de levadura en polvo
▱ 3/4 taza de leche
▱ 1/2 taza de nueces
▱ Canela
▱ Nuez moscada


The very first step you will take is slicing up the peaches 🍑 I don't know why every single recipe calls for you to peel them, especially given that peels are packed full of nutrients! Naturally I left mine on.



El primer paso que darås serå cortar los duraznos en rodajas. No sé por qué cada receta requiere que los peles, ¥especialmente teniendo en cuenta que las cåscaras estån repletas de nutrientes! Naturalmente dejé el mío puesto.


Add the peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, and salt to a saucepan. Cook on medium heat for a few minutes, until the sugar is dissolved and a little bit of peach juice is present!

It will look like this:

Next, preheat the oven to 360 degrees. Take some butter, slice it into pieces (about 6 tablespoons), then add it to your baking dish. Place the pan in the oven to allow the butter to melt.

In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients: flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk. Sprinkle in some cinnamon and nutmeg. (I went a step further and added some chopped walnuts into mine 😋) Pour the mixture into the pan, over the melted butter, and smooth it into an even layer as best as you can!

Spoon the peaches and juice over the batter. Once this step is complete, she will be ready for the oven! đŸ˜đŸ€€

Bake at 360 degrees for about 38-40 minutes. Once it is all said and done, she will look like this:

And there you have it! Sweet and delicious 🍑 peach cobbler! 🍑 The peaches still had a crisp crunch to them, and the fluffy cobbler complimented it beautifully... Serve it warm with a little bit of vanilla ice cream -- a childhood favorite I shared with my father! ❀ I hope you enjoy this recipe!
