Why I invested 1000 HBD in Hive: A Journey to a 20% APR Guaranteed Return on Investment
Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you a recent acquisition that shows my faith in a very promising project: 1000 HBD.
Hive is a decentralized platform that aims to create an open and sustainable digital economy. And HBD is its native currency, which offers many interesting opportunities for investors.
But why did I decide to invest in Hive and HBD? The answer is simple: the 20% APR. This guaranteed annual interest rate is truly unique in the world of cryptocurrencies, and it appeals to those who don't want to risk suffering from big value swings but at the same time want to ensure a good return on investment.
The journey to acquiring these HBD was a bit complicated. I used Nexo to purchase LTC, then Simple Swap to convert them into Hive, and finally the internal market of Hive to purchase HBD. I immediately put these HBD into the Savings to take advantage of the interest rate offered by Hive.
It would have been nice if there was a way to skip some of these steps to save on transaction costs, but overall it wasn't too difficult.
Of course, there are always risks associated with investing in cryptocurrencies, but I believe that Hive and HBD have what it takes to become one of the best opportunities in the sector. Their community is active and rapidly growing, their development team is highly qualified and their vision is ambitious but at the same time achievable.

20% is a good percentage, but you can earn 100% in a year by trading HBD on the internal exchange. You need to catch 3 pumps of 30%.

You could have used @brianoflondon's lightning to HBD app to sell Bitcoin directly into HBD. There is a v4v does this.(see his blog for the URL) So next time if Nexo can do BTC lightning, you can skip the Hive step and get into HBD from Bitcoin.

Excellent investment in both your future and in Hive's! If I had the resources, I'd do the same! You can send LTC (and several other cryptocurrencies) directly to your Hive-Engine wallet via their respective SWAP addresses, so SWAP.LTC in this case. The address is accessible from your wallet in Hive Engine. Look for the 'Deposit' option, and then look for the token you want to receive. It's very quick and easy. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

It's not guaranteed. It's paid directly by the blockchain so you don't have to worry about not getting paid in that sense, but the interest rate is subject to change, even to 0%, at any time by witness vote. Plus HBD has its own risks you should understand.
What makes you think I didn't understand them? Hive and HBD have almost the same big risk, but one is more volatile, the other less. The first pays to do something for the community, the second pays to put money and that's it 😊 However, guaranteed (by Hive) does not mean forever.
That's a reasonable way of looking at it.
