On the same day in 1990, the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses.
We now live in a globalized system in which it is essential to overcome any type of discrimination, to build a global community that respects the rights of each person and the freedom of each to make their own choices freely.
This, for me, is an opportunity to always remember that we are all the same as human and at the same time all different, unique.
El mismo día de 1990, la Organización Mundial de la Salud eliminó la homosexualidad de la lista de enfermedades mentales.
Hoy vivimos en un sistema globalizado en el que es fundamental superar todo tipo de discriminación, para construir una comunidad global que respete los derechos de cada persona y la libertad de cada uno para tomar sus propias decisiones libremente.
Esto, para mí, es una oportunidad para recordar siempre que todos somos iguales a los humanos y al mismo tiempo todos diferentes, únicos.

while it has been removed for 32 years from mental illness, that is not the case in the place where religions are the main issue like in my place.
They were still being discriminated against, and still a huge debate among those who thought homosexuality is a mental disorder and can spread out like a disease.
Yes. We are all humans so why all the hate/discrimination??
