Spending more than your capabilities

I am very sure I am not the only one facing the dilemma , which dilemma am I talking about ?? I am talking about the situation whereby we spend more than our capabilities and thereby we are not able to have any form of savings afte the end of everything..

I remember that for several years that most of the time whenever I collect my salary I would have spent more than 80% of it just less than ten days after collecting the salary and that is because I engage in over-spending , I engage in so much of impulse buying and I just want to enjoy my money..

Well enjoying the money you earned is good but that do not mean you should spend more than you earn or spend more than you are capable of spending or go beyond your financial strength..

For years I was not able to have a good savings because I spent every dime I earned..

How did I stop this menace ?? I started creating a personal budget myself and disciplined myself to abide by the budget..

Ever since i started creating budget for myself, whenever I am tempted to engage in over-spending , the budget i have created have a way of preventing from doing the over-spending and it helps me control my spending..

Now I only spend majorly only on my needs and now I save more and spend less , all thanks to a great budgeting and the determination for me to obey the budget that I have always created for myself..

One needs to create discipline in themselves when creating their budget , the discipline would help you to be obey the rules which you have created for yourself....
