Boardgame - Star Wars: Outer Rim
One of the best games out right now is a Star Wars game
Star Wars: Outer Rim is playable from one (1) to four (4) players, ages fourteen (14) and up, for about two (2) to three (3) hours.
You may play as a smuggler, a scoundrel, and/or a bounty hunter in search of Fame. You are all playing for Fame which is not zero-sum resource. No need to simply just attack players like so many games out there. There is equal benefit in helping players. With the complexity of the game, it is pretty easy to pick up, well balanced, and winners win with smaller leads over others compared to some more cut throat games.
Players pick from eight (8) choices with a variety of special skills. Goal of the game is to get Fame points, which can be earned in a variety of ways. Money is earned that can be used to upgrade gear, and replace a starter ship. Game may be played to ten points to win or within a time limit with the player with the most Fame points instead of potential longer game play with many players trying to race to and get to ten (10) Fame points.
