👁 Tortisian Hermits are a reclusive subset of their kind, choosing to withdraw from the bustling seafaring life to seek wisdom deep within the sacred rivers of the Splinterlands. Unlike their kin, they prefer isolation, dedicating their existence to endless training with the elusive Spirit of the River. This ancient spirit, said to embody the currents and wisdom of the water, has passed down secret martial forms only understood by the most attuned. These tortoises meditate by the riverbanks, absorbing the rhythms of the water, training their bodies and spirits to move with the fluidity of the river itself.
Though they carry no weapons in battle, their greatest strength comes from their bond with the river spirit. The currents guide their movements, and with each strike, the power of the water flows through them. Their shells, sturdy and immovable, serve as natural fortresses, while their agile forms defy their size, embodying the wisdom that strength lies in yielding, not resisting. Few have ever seen a Tortisian Hermit in combat, but those who have speak of their grace, power, and mastery over the natural world, never staying in one place too long, forever wandering, forever training.. 👁

I took some inspiration from a fellow pro who makes good photomontages in photoshop, I liked one in particular where he makes a cool mix of a turtle “monk”, and well I hope you can take good information in this post and take a good experience watching my creative process :)
This is my colleague @forest-fangs -fans from whom I got my initial monk turtle inspiration
Sketch! 🤐
Paint! 🤓
I have been experimenting with these last works by starting a grayscale painting, since it is one of the many ways to start correctly according to [an artist in a book I read; keep in mind this: start by defining the shapes and the layers corresponding to the “depth of field”.
character & bg! 🤓
Color! 🥰
Here I put into practice the “second step”, which would be to create the “depth of field” layers. which would be to create the saturation layers (in normal mode) corresponding to each part of the work, and simply let your creativity flow to combine the colors, although of course you must have knowledge about the “color theory” but personally I think that you should not kill yourself by complying with such theories... anyway...
Details ! 🥰
I used for the Dehancer effect in photoshop, as usual, and added to my detail layer a couple of the BORIX FX effects, any questions or details you want to know about these resources, write it in the comments and I can pass them to you so you can experience them.
❤️ Thanks , Thanks, Thanks for reading and see you on the next Edition ! ❤️ thank you very much for your support, and I am open to any collaboration.
thnks @forest-fangs
