Hola Ladies 💗 Espero se encuentren super bien, es un placer saludarlas una vez más. El día de hoy compartiendo con ustedes mi participación en el concurso de esta semana con dos muy interesantes preguntas a responder, antes me gustaría extender una especial invitación a mis amigas @sugarelys @yagelybr y @mariajcastro28 a participar, sin más preámbulos por aquí les comparto mis respuestas.

Today I'm sharing with you my participation in this week's contest with two very interesting questions to answer, before I would like to extend a special invitation to my friends @sugarelys @yagelybr and @mariajcastro28 to participate, without further ado here I share with you my answers.
1️⃣ ¿Por qué crees que la sociedad da tanto valor a la belleza
cuando no tiene ningún propósito funcional?
Considero que la belleza esta creada más que todo para agradar a la vista; pero como todo, lo que para ti puede resultar bello para otra persona no lo es, personalmente hablando pienso que el querer lucir presentables, arreglados y bonitos no esta mal, todo cambia cuando esto se convierte en una vanidad que va más allá de lucir naturalmente hermosos.
Lastimosamente, la misma sociedad se ha encargado de crear estereotipos y darle publicidad a la parte estética haciendo que tanto las mujeres como los hombres sientan esa necesidad de vivir eternamente siendo jovenes, esto es algo que hoy en día se ve muy presente, las mujeres como también los hombres se empiezan a preocupar por las arruguitas y porque el paso del tiempo (que es algo natural en el ser humano) se va viendo reflejado.
Pero no nos vayamos lejos, hoy en día hay jovenes que se sienten mal por su aspecto físico, que si tienen imperfecciones, estrías, celulitis, que si no son lo suficientemente delgadas, entre otras cosas y es donde empiezan desde temprana edad a operarse para conseguir ''mejores atributos''. Las redes sociales y las revistas nos han vendido una idea errónea de lo que es la belleza y de cuan importante es tenerla para encajar en la sociedad pensando que así tendremos el trabajo perfecto o simplemente nos aceptarán más rápido y es donde uno se debe plantear, realmente ¿queremos lucir bien para nosotros mismo o para agradar a las otras personas?
Ahora bien, respondiendo a la pregunta considero que la sociedad le da tanto valor a la belleza porque es algo que se vende fácilmente y te lo explico en un breve ejemplo, cuando se pone como imagen a una modelo con piel ''perfecta'' para vender digamos un producto para el cuidado del rostro, este tendrá mucha más salida o venta ya que las personas tienen la equivocada idea de que solo por adquirir ese producto ya tendrán la piel de esa modelo; ya que, como decía al principio es algo que entra por los ojos.
Se debe ser consciente que los estándares de belleza cambian con el tiempo y lo que hoy se considera belleza, mañana puede no serlo.
Algo que debo recalcar y considero muy bueno es que hoy en día se ven muchas campañas de aceptación y amor propio, dándole entender a las personas que el día que empecemos a aceptarnos a nosotros mismos, con todas nuestras virtudes y defectos ese día entenderemos el verdadero significado de la belleza.
1️⃣ Why do you think society places such a high value on beauty
when it serves no functional purpose?
I believe that beauty is created more than anything to please the eye; but like everything else, what for you may be beautiful for someone else is not, personally speaking I think that wanting to look presentable, arranged and beautiful is not wrong, everything changes when this becomes a vanity that goes beyond looking naturally beautiful.
Unfortunately, the same society has been responsible for creating stereotypes and give publicity to the aesthetic part making both women and men feel the need to live forever being young, this is something that today is very present, women as well as men are beginning to worry about wrinkles and because the passage of time (which is natural in humans) is reflected.
But let's not go too far, nowadays there are young people who feel bad about their physical appearance, if they have imperfections, stretch marks, cellulite, if they are not thin enough, among other things and that is where they start from an early age to have surgery to get ''better attributes''. Social networks and magazines have sold us an erroneous idea of what beauty is and how important it is to have it to fit into society thinking that this way we will have the perfect job or we will simply be accepted faster and that is where one must ask oneself, do we really want to look good for ourselves or to please other people?
Now, answering the question I think that society gives so much value to beauty because it is something that sells easily and I'll explain in a brief example, when you put as an image a model with ''perfect'' skin to sell say a product for facial care, this will have much more output or sale because people have the misconception that only by purchasing that product will have the skin of that model; because, as I said at the beginning is something that enters through the eyes.
One must be aware that beauty standards change over time and what is considered beauty today may not be so tomorrow.
Something that I must emphasize and I consider very good is that today we see many campaigns of acceptance and self-love, giving people to understand that the day we begin to accept ourselves, with all our virtues and defects, that day we will understand the true meaning of beauty.
2️⃣ ¿Qué trabajo se te daría fatal?
Creo que el trabajar como mecánico me iría super fatal, ya que no sé nada sobre el tema a excepción de algunas marcas de autos y donde va la gasolina a la hora de recargar jajaja, muchas veces me he dado la oportunidad de ver a mi papá cuando le esta haciendo algún pequeño arreglo al auto o a la moto y solo de ver el montón de herramientas y ver todas las partes mecánicas de un auto o moto me vuelvo un ocho jaja.
La verdad admiro mucho a las mujeres y hombres que trabajan en este área, ya que se debe ser muy preciso a la hora de diagnosticar y reparar los diferentes tipos de maquina.
2️⃣ What job would you be absolutely terrible at?
I think that working as a mechanic would be terrible for me, since I don't know anything about the subject except for some brands of cars and where the gas goes when refueling hahaha, many times I have had the opportunity to see my dad when he is doing some small repair to the car or motorcycle and just to see the pile of tools and see all the mechanical parts of a car or motorcycle makes me an eight hahaha.
I really admire the men and women who work in this area, because they have to be very precise when diagnosing and repairing the different types of machinery.

Totalmente amiga, muchas veces se piensa que por adquirir un maquillaje que está de moda tendremos un acabado hermoso en nuestra piel, pero al final la modelo en las fotografías tendrá un montón de mejoras en edición. Pero bueno, no tiene nada de malo en querer arreglarnos, con tal no lo hagamos por presión social y querer ser aceptadas, debemos amarnos tal y como somos.

Totalmente mi Vale, no lo pudiste haber dicho mejor. Está bien querernos ver lindas, bien presentadas, arregladas; el punto es cuando lo hacemos por presión social y lo convertimos en una vanidad que va más allá de vernos hermosos naturalmente. Muy cierto tu punto de vista amiga, la belleza puede ser agradable a la vista, nuestro aspecto habla mucho de nosotros pero no podemos dejarnos llevar por eso porque no todo en la vida es la apariencia física. Por otro lado yo tampoco me imagino como mecánica jajajaja aunque si he aprendido ciertas cositas pero igual si me dedicara a eso seria terrible 😅 Gracias por la invitación amiga, pronto hago mi entrada 🧡
Hola mi Mary! Totalmente, pienso que no esta mal querer vernos bien arreglados, bien peinados, estar presentables; la cuestión es como dices cuando nos dejamos llevar por eso y por el que dirán ya que no todo en la vida es apariencia física.

What a nice comment, I agree with you! Beauty has no age or price, it is in the eyes of the beholder. As you say, God created us all equally beautiful, it is a gift and we should appreciate it and be grateful for it, what makes a person truly beautiful goes beyond physical appearance. You put it aptly when you mentioned the model with the perfect skin selling skin care products and that if we use them, we will have the same skin as the model! I often see young ladies on commercials selling skin care who haven't even begun to show a wrinkle! Let's face it; those of us over 50, 60, 70+ are not going to get that skin no matter how much of that skin cream we use!
Beauty is so much more than just surface! Beauty needs to be inward as well. We are all beautiful in God's eyes and we tend to forget that because of the society viewpoint.

We must learn not to be obsessed with our physical appearance and that our self-esteem depends on it, nothing like enjoying and accepting the passage of time and what this entails; clearly each person is free to do what they like with their appearance and so on but it is very important to keep in mind that beauty goes beyond a pretty and young face, the values and way of being of a person speaks very well of her. By the way I totally agree with the last part ''We are all beautiful in God's eyes and we tend to forget that because of society's point of view.'' You are most welcome! I worked today with an 89 year old lady who is one of the most peaceful and lovely ladies I've met. She is beautiful on the inside and her age though reflected in her face, does not detract from her. Take care and have a lovely day!
Yes when societal perpetuates an extreme and distorted impression of what beauty is in the name of profit, creating an epidemic of anorexia and bulimia. Being a malnourished skeleton by any measure is not healthy.
I also think that we ourselves as people often lack empathy and caution with others, sometimes we make comments about someone's physique that we do not know if they will affect or not and what we do is generate a dislike and misconception in that person about themselves. Lo que dices sobre la belleza es tal cual, hay estándares muy altos de lo que debe ser humano lo que no en cuanto a apariencia, estética, vestido, peso, etc.
En lugar de esl se debería promover la salud, cuidarnos y amarnos como somos.
