Mi experiencia almorzando en el restaurante ''El patio de la 21'' 🍲🍃 [ESP-ENG]

A habit that we are taking at home is that every Sunday we go out for lunch with the family. Today, we had the opportunity to visit a restaurant that I particularly liked a lot, from its ambiance to the taste of its dishes. The restaurant is called ''El patio de la 21'' and is located in the southern part of the city.

The restaurant is quite large and has several rooms, the good thing is that each one is closed and has air conditioning so you can stay cool while having lunch. Once we entered and settled at the table, the waitress gave us the tablet where we could see the menu, they have the option to scan the QR code from your cell phone, physical menu or in this case, the tablet which we found quite original.

Looking at the menu we decided on some natural lemonades to refresh ourselves a little, then we decided on the main course which in my case was a Posta Cartagenera, which contains rice with coconut, patacones, salad and the posta bathed in panela sauce for a value of $ 35. 000 Colombian Pesos ($8.65 Dollars) It was really delicious, the posta was quite soft and with an incredible flavor, the sauce had that sweet touch of panela but not at all cloying, the coconut rice made the perfect complement.

On the other hand, Fer decided for a seafood casserole which I loved because the dish was presented still cooking, that is to say, it came with the flame underneath. My father-in-law decided for some BBQ ribs that were not only soft but also finger-licking good. I'm sure we were all really satisfied with our choice.

Now, telling you a little bit about the place, I loved that it had a giant screen where in this case they were broadcasting soccer, but it was something more in the background because what you could really appreciate was the music that was at a fairly moderate volume, the restaurant was illuminated by some yellow lights although there were some spaces where the sun's rays entered so it made the place look well lit. My favorite part? The decoration without a doubt, the walls were full of pictures alluding to the carnival of Barranquilla, there were some fake plants as well as a small space with rocking chairs which made it look like a small patio.

I was really in love with the place, from their attention that was very good to the taste of their dishes, I had years without trying a good posta Cartagenera and this restaurant did not disappoint me at all. If you want to spend a nice time with family or friends, eating delicious and in a good atmosphere this is the right place, here I share some photos to make you fall in love as much as I did. Una costumbre que estamos tomando en casa es que cada Domingo salimos a almorzar en familia. El día de hoy, tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer un restaurante que en particular me gustó muchísimo, desde su ambiente hasta el sabor de sus platillos. El restaurante se llama ''El patio de la 21'' y queda ubicado en la parte sur de la ciudad.

El restaurante es bastante grande y cuenta con varios ambientes, lo bueno es que cada uno es cerrado y tiene aire acondicionado por lo que puedes estar fresco mientras almuerzas. Una vez entramos y nos acomodamos en la mesa, la mesera nos hizo entrega de la tablet donde podíamos observar el menú, cuentan con la opción de escanear el código QR desde tu celular, menú físico o en este caso, la tablet cosa que nos pareció bastante original.

Viendo un poco el menú nos decidimos por unas limonadas naturales para refrescarnos un poco, en seguida decidimos por el plato fuerte que en mi caso fue una Posta Cartagenera, la cual contiene arroz con coco, patacones, ensalada y la posta bañada en salsa de panela por un valor de $35.000 Pesos Colombianos ($8.65 Dólares) Realmente estaba deliciosa, la posta estaba bastante suave y con un sabor increíble, la salsa tenía ese toque dulce de la panela pero para nada empalagoso, el arroz de coco hizo el complemento perfecto.

Por otra parte, Fer se decidió por una cazuela de mariscos la cual me encantó porque el plato lo presentaron aún cocinándose, es decir, venía con la llama por debajo. Mi suegro se decidió por unas costillas BBQ que a parte de suaves estaban para chuparse los dedos. Estoy segura de que todos quedamos realmente satisfechos con nuestra elección.

Ahora bien, contándoles un poco del lugar, me encantó que tenía una pantalla gigante donde en este caso estaban transmitiendo fútbol, pero era algo más de fondo ya que realmente lo que se podía apreciar era la música que estaba a un volumen bastante moderado, el restaurante estaba iluminado por algunas luces amarillas aunque habían algunos espacios por donde entraban los rayos del sol por lo cual hacía que el lugar se viera bien iluminado. ¿Mi parte favorita? La decoración sin duda, las paredes testaban llenas de cuadros alusivos al carnaval de Barranquilla, habían algunas plantas falsas al igual que un pequeño espacio con mecedoras las cuales hacían parecer que era un pequeño patio.

Quedé realmente enamorada del lugar, desde su atención que fue muy buena hasta el sabor de sus platillos, tenía años sin probar una buena posta Cartagenera y este restaurante no me decepcionó para nada. Si desean pasar un rato agradable en familia o con amigos, comiendo delicioso y en un buen ambiente este es el lugar indicado, por aquí les comparto algunas fotos para que se enamoren tanto como yo lo hice.
