Buying plants at one of Barranquilla's largest plants nurseries | '' las fuentes '' 🪴🌼. [ESP-ENG]

Hola chicos, feliz lunes e inicios de semana! Espero hayan podido descansar bastante el fin de semana y hayan tenido la oportunidad de compartir junto a su familia. Por mi parte, aproveche estos días para descansar bastante, compartir con mi familia y por supuesto hacer cosas que disfruto como ir a comprar plantitas. Hace unos meses les comenté que había comprado algunas plantas para mi casa ya que mi lado de ''señora de las matas'' había salido a relucir jaja, más sin embargo fue en un lugar o vivero bastante pequeño, el sábado tuve la oportunidad de visitar uno de los viveros más grandes y hermosos de Barranquilla y por supuesto, no podía dejar la oportunidad de compartir esta belleza con ustedes. Así que sin más preámbulos, por aquí les comparto mi experiencia.

Hi guys, happy Monday and the beginning of the week! I hope you were able to rest a lot over the weekend and had the opportunity to share with your family. As for me, I took advantage of these days to rest a lot, share with my family and of course do things I enjoy like going shopping for plants. A few months ago I told you that I had bought some plants for my house since my side of ''lady of the bushes'' had come out haha, however it was in a rather small place or nursery, on Saturday I had the opportunity to visit one of the largest and most beautiful nurseries in Barranquilla and of course, I could not miss the opportunity to share this beauty with you. So without further ado, here is my experience.

El vivero tiene por nombre las fuentes y queda en la carretera que va vía Puerto Colombia o Cartagena, siempre había pasado por allí antes, más sin embargo no fue hasta el sábado que tuve la oportunidad de llegar como tal y conocer el lugar y realmente quedé enamorada, es un lugar bastante amplio y por donde mires te encontrarás con variedad de plantas, flores y decoraciones para el jardín.

El lugar es bastante fácil de encontrar ya que por afuera tiene muchos animales grandes como decoración (A los que me falto tomar foto jaja) y a penas entramos nos encontramos con muchas flores en tonos amarillos y naranjas que llamaron mi atención inmediatamente.

The nursery is called Las Fuentes and is located on the road that goes via Puerto Colombia or Cartagena, I had always passed by there before, however it was not until Saturday that I had the opportunity to arrive as such and know the place and I really fell in love, it is a fairly large place and everywhere you look you will find a variety of plants, flowers and decorations for the garden.

The place is quite easy to find since the outside has many large animals as decoration (which I didn't take a picture of haha) and as soon as we entered we found many flowers in yellow and orange tones that caught my attention immediately.

Algo que me gustó bastante es la organización del lugar, ya que las flores y demás plantas están bien divididas y organizadas por sectores, no es como si encontráramos una encima de otra. Estas dos fueron de mis favoritas, una es margarita silvestre en un hermoso tono anaranjado y la otra si no estoy mal es una petunia en tonos pasteles. También encontramos unos grandes y hermosos bonsai, nos encantó lo bien cuidado que estaban.

Something that I liked a lot is the organization of the place, since the flowers and other plants are well divided and organized by sectors, it is not as if we found one on top of another. These two were among my favorites, one is a wild daisy in a beautiful orange tone and the other if I am not wrong is a petunia in pastel tones. We also found some big beautiful bonsai, we loved how well cared for they were.

Por esta parte encontramos lo que son las plantas de sombra (A esto me refiero cuando les digo que el lugar estaba bastante organizado) en esta mini casita había muchísima variedad de cactus, suculentas, plantas de la felicidad, helechos colgantes y muchas otras especies.

In this part we found what are the shade plants (this is what I mean when I say that the place was quite organized) in this mini house there was a lot of variety of cactus, succulents, happiness plants, hanging ferns and many other species.

Y para seguir con el recorrido, encontramos este otro lado del vivero el cual me encantó ya que estaba bastante abierto, por lo que se puede apreciar el cielo azul y las plantas reciben mucha luz, la verdad no sé muy bien el nombre de cada planta o su especie, pero si puedo decirles a ciencia cierta que me encantó como se veía este hermoso camino lleno de plantas y flores.

Al final me decidí por unos crisantemos en tonos anaranjados y amarillos el cual tenía a su alrededor también unos pequeños crisantemos en tono rosa que a penas están abriendo sus pétalos, buscamos una maceta para que el señor que nos estaba atendiendo me hiciera el favor de plantarla en seguida y como pueden ver había muchísima variedad pero opté por una maceta mediana y mientras él pasaba la plantita a su nueva maceta yo seguí viendo flores.

And to continue with the tour, we found this other side of the nursery which I loved because it was quite open, so you can see the blue sky and the plants receive lots of light, the truth is I do not know very well the name of each plant or its species, but I can tell you for sure that I loved how it looked this beautiful path full of plants and flowers.

In the end I decided for some chrysanthemums in orange and yellow tones which also had around them some small pink chrysanthemums that are just opening their petals, we looked for a pot so that the man who was attending us would do me the favor of planting it right away and as you can see there was a lot of variety but I opted for a medium pot and while he passed the plant to its new pot I continued to see flowers.

Cuando llegó la hora de pagar me encontré con otras lindas macetas las cuales me encantaron, creo que se verían hermosas para decorar dentro de la casa pero así como esas también habían otras macetas en arcilla de todos los tamaños las cuales puedes decorar a tu gusto.
Al entrar a la oficina mis ojos no pudieron evitar toparse con estas orquídeas tan lindas, así que para la próxima vez una de ellas se irá conmigo.

When it was time to pay I found other beautiful pots which I loved, I think they would look beautiful to decorate inside the house but as well as those there were also other clay pots of all sizes which you can decorate to your liking.
As I walked into the office my eyes couldn't help but stumble upon these beautiful orchids, so next time one of them will go with me.

Al final compramos 5 plantitas con flores las cuales les muestro aquí abajito, 4 de ellas las llevamos tal cual ya que en casa tenemos macetas donde plantarlas por lo que a la única que le compramos maceta fue a los crisantemos. Cuando íbamos saliendo del lugar nos encontramos con una planta de Cannabis (Así que como pueden ver si que se encuentra variedad de plantas aquí jajaja)

En resumen, estoy bastante feliz con mis plantitas nuevas, sobre todo por sus lindos colores y por lo hermosas que están, espero sigan así. Espero a ustedes también les haya gustado el lugar y todas las flores que les mostré, gracias por llegar hasta el final. Un abrazo ❤️

In the end we bought 5 flowering plants which I show you here below, 4 of them we took them as they are since we have pots at home where to plant them, so the only one we bought a pot for was the chrysanthemums. When we were leaving the place we found a Cannabis plant (So as you can see there is a variety of plants here hahaha).

All in all, I am quite happy with my new plants, especially for their pretty colors and how beautiful they are, I hope they continue like this. I hope you also liked the place and all the flowers I showed you, thanks for coming to the end. A hug ❤️
