Hello! This post is for the entry of Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. For this post, Akane is featured.

Akane

Akane is a rebellion dragon legendary summoner. You can select to either give a unit lookout or give 2 unit ambush. Ambush would be the most common choice since you can give ambush to any friendly creatures.

Avaliable Type: Fire, Light, Dragon
Mana: 25
Blood and Sunder: All units have corrosive ward.
Taking Sides: No neutral units may be used.

Nothing really important strategies about the rules. Blood and Sunder makes Meele units with armor a little bit worse.

My Lineup

Summoner: Akane. I mainly used this summoner to give monsters ambush for quicker attacks. I also selected Fire since Light did not have strong monsters.

First position: Venari Heatsmith. Venari Heatsmith is just a tank that I used for 3 mana.

Second position: Chimney Wallstop. For Akane, Chimney Wallstop probably would be a better choice than Fina Voxom, which is usually my favorite Fire Gladiator, since it has more melee attacks. It has reach so it could attack from the second position.

Third positon: Firecaller. Firecaller also has 3 ranged attack for 5 mana which is high. Its low speed can be fixed by Ambush since it can attack first. If it gets hit by Sneak, Snipe or Opportunity, it would give buff to Chimney Wallstop with the martyr.

Fourth position: Gobalano Soldier. For 3 mana it also has sneak and ambush. It is a decent choice, but I feel like there could've been more stronger 3 mana units.

Round 1

The ambush round started and three of my units attacked. It left enemy Antoid Plantoon with only 2 health. Here my opponent also went with fire and a lot of sneak units. They also had a backline soak and a unit with Giant Killer which deals 2x damage to units with 10 or more mana.

Round 2

After the Ambush the round started and Gobalano Soldier was taken down by enemy Tenyii Striker. Firecaller also took down Antoid Plantoon and Chimney Wallstop took down Djinn Inferni.

Round 3

Round 3 started and after some hits only Chimney Wallstop was left on our side but it was able to take down Orella Abadon.

Round 4

At this point, the game is pretty over since Chimney Wallstop is the first to attack.

Round 5

All that was left is to take down the enemy's last units.

Thoughts on this Battle

Ambush went a little better than I thought! They could've easily take my backline cards with strong sneak attacks.
