Beach Baby Garden!
Mid July 2023 Cape Cod Garden Update!
This is my Cape Cod, Beach Garden, not my home garden. Most of my garden starts as seeds, sometime in the middle of winter, Feb, March, and then, planted out as soon as is feasible. My Cape Garden get's planted around 1st of June. My gardens are in New England, zone 6b/7a.
For reference, the labeled Garden mid June
After the above Labeled image was taken, I have since added on LEFT, a Roma tomato, and Black Sea Man, to left of Brandywine Yellow both seen in the top "cover" image.
The short "empty" grow bag, actually has Lettuce seeds starting. If you look at the cover image, you can see a lot of yellow leaves in the middle. That's the Yellow Pear tomato, and it looks like I may lose that. The plant looks drowned (not surprising given the sheer amount of rains we have had.
All the rest of the tomato plants have at least some fruit showing, and some have a lot. Many have lot's of flowers, showing more promised fruit coming over the summer!

The flower garden,in ground, is showing lots of blooms and blossoms! Lots of lily, Rose Campion, and the flowers transplanted into the 4 tiered containers are really taking well.
Just next to the 4 tiered planted and in front of the short pine, is Scarborough Fair Garden... you know, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme.

Most of you know, I prefer to grow my own food, locally. It's healthier for my family, and for the planet. I know what goes into my foods, and what chemicals are NOT in my food. Also, It cuts down on carbon emissions, less trucking, planes, trains, and boats, to get fresh foods to my table.
And that makes me smile... better for the planet, better for my own family.

I haven't watered this vacation garden much at all. Yes, we've had rains, but thankfully, not the flooding you got there.
Your garden is doing great, I'm usually excited seeing a home garden, because I've always wanted to have one.
