In this week's edition of my Favorite Strategies, I will do something drastically different from my usual battle showcases. Instead of war, I will become a peaceful teacher showing all new players how to most effectively navigate the topic of Favorite Strategies. It might sound hard, but it is actually far easier than it seems. Hopefully, seeing some of my favourite moves in action will help some new players grasp the basics of the game! 😜

So without further ado, let me introduce how best to navigate this seemingly impossible task to you! 🎉

Every Splinterlands player has that one strategy that feels like a secret weapon. For me, it’s all about leveraging the synergy between a carefully crafted card combination that turns close matches into decisive victories. In this post, I’ll share my favorite go-to strategy, explaining why it works and how you can use it to dominate the battlefield.

With all that being said, here is how I would advice ALL players on how you can capitalize on some of these simple strategies!

My Favorite Splinterlands Strategy

Core Deck Combination

• Key Cards:
  • Summoner: Lorna Shine – Provides Divine Shield to all allies, allowing them to absorb the first hit in battle.
  • Tank: Shieldbearer – High health and Taunt ability ensures enemy attacks focus on it, keeping your backline safe.
  • Support 1: Venari Crystalsmith – Offers sustained healing for Shieldbearer while contributing ranged damage.
  • Support 2: Truthspeaker – Grants Armor to all allies for added durability.

Why This Works

• Durability: The combination of Divine Shield, Armor, and Healing ensures your tank survives prolonged assaults, buying time for your damage dealers to shine.
• Control: Shieldbearer’s Taunt funnels attacks, preventing Sneak or Opportunity cards from disrupting your backline strategy.
• Flexibility: This setup excels in low to mid-mana battles, particularly when paired with healing and protection rule sets.

Adaptations for Rule Sets

• Reverse Speed: Swap in slower support units like Time Mage for better synergy with the rule set.
• Earthquake: Add Flying units like Pelacor Conjurer to minimize damage from the environment.
• Noxious Fumes: Incorporate Cleanse from a secondary support unit to counter poison effects.

Pro Tips

• Anticipate Sneak and Snipe: Include a secondary tank like Chaos Knight to safeguard your backline from Sneak cards.
• Know Your Opponent: Study match histories to determine likely enemy setups and adapt your formation accordingly.
• Mana Flexibility: If faced with a high mana cap, introduce a damage-heavy backline unit like Prismologist to accelerate your offense.
