PSA to All Splinterlands Players: Burn DEC/SPS for WOO Starter Sets!

We're just 2 days into the "Summer of WOO" and are seeing a new wave of players! However, for current HIVE users who are also Splinterlands players, do you know that you can purchase the "Booker License" aka "Spellbook" using your DEC or SPS too?

Why take the trouble to buy a pass to play WOO using another currency? After all, it seems like an unnecessary additional step to swap into another currency like DEC/SPS (if you don't already have some of those lying around). Here's why!

WOO is collaborating with @Yabapmatt and the Splinterlands team during this event and they are giving SPL Players a special incentive to come check out WOO. All Bookers License purchases made with SPS and/or DEC will be 100% burned when the event ends. Most importantly, there are also 200 WOO Starter Sets (50 rare and 150 common) for the first 200 accounts that buy a bookers license with SPS or DEC and claim it.

What are in those Rare and Common Starter Sets?

The rare set consists of the following NFTs.

• Arty Wright (male)
• Akemi Ishii (female)

These cards effectively allow any new player to jump straight into the game without having to buy the cards or packs needed to form a team to play the game! Effectively, it is a discount on the Booker License AND with all the DEC/SPS burnt, it will theoretically boost the prices of Splinterlands tokens too!

If you are worried about the stock running out, fret not! I think this information has flown under the radar and not everyone has used these methods to purchase their Booker License. As of yesterday, there are only 22 Rare Licenses claimed thus far. If you hurry and make your purchase NOW, it is VERY likely that you will qualify for one still!

Remember though, this isn't an automatic process and you will still need to manually claim your starter kit after making the purchase. Here's how you can do it as instructed by @bookerman himself.

"All you have to do to claim the starter set is purchase a Bookers license from the website with DEC or SPS then come into discord and ⁠🆘-open-support-ticket please put your hive username in that support ticket and you will have your starter sets sent out to you manually within 24 to 48 hours (it shouldn't take that long but it does take time)"
