Self Discipline

Self-discipline is the ability to push yourself forward, stay motivated, and take action, regardless of how you're feeling, physically or emotionally. Self discipline is determination, if you are determine definitely you can. For example, everytime I always pass my area I always see this man that is smoking in the front of an uncompleted building. Then one day, I got close to him one day and asked him a question,

Can't you stop smoking sir? it's not good for your health since you growing old.

He smiled and replied 🙃🙃

My daughter, if I don't smoke I might die so just leave me and let me continue.

Everyone has advice him in different language but he did not adhere to anyone word. He had this thinking that if he did not smoke for a day, he can't survive.

And I told him

You can control this cigarettes, don't allow this small thing to control you. You can stop it and live without it and you will be much better.

This man already allowed a little thing to control him because he is not determine. There are some little things to discipline ourselves , just like some people who are addicted to games, money, foods, phones and so on. You can decide to make a change and be discipline to eat less, press your phone less, play game less and focus.

Self discipline comes in different aspects, knowing your strengths and weaknesses. I will say this is what we should discover first, especially when we know we are going out of the lane. I've learned how to discipline myself when I realize my weakness, because when you know your weakness then you should be ready to fight it and make a change.

I can remember those days, when I was still a spendthrift. I buy anything buyable 😅, even to the extent that even if I don't need that stuff at that particular time I buy and just abandon them. I'm not saying it's not good to spend money my point is that then I never had savings, any money that I'm being given I don't waste time I spend. I found out this was my weakness and I have to discipline myself, then I decided to be determine to be the type that saves and not the type that spends. I remove temptations on my way, yes 😂😂 temptations will come, that is when your friend will tell you a new frontal wig is out. But I set clear goals and have an execution plan, I did not allow my friends to influence me and I decided to be focus to aim my mission.

After some months, I found my self as a staff working in a pos office, counting money that doesn't belong to me. I knew this was a big task but I just determine to focus and practice diligence daily. Whenever you are determined, I found out that the attitude that seems like a hard task will become easy. Though when I started working at this pos office, I was a little bit scared and afraid but at times so on I decided to create new habits which I also noticed myself. Having someone's money with you a very hard though, but when I started working in this office and I was determined because I don't want to risk some else's money just because of my attitude. I then begin to save, any money I was given to I spend wisely and not foolishly. Since then I was able to cultivate the habit of saving🌚😎😊

Self discipline is all about determination and also your decision. Make a decision now to change on that your weakness and you will never regret. 🥰
