First day of AGC 2024 Retreat

First day of AGC Retreat.
Today marks the first day of the retreat with the theme 'Redeemed to Excel.' I am spending my weekend in the presence of God at the AGC 2024 retreat. I am really having a good time in the presence of God.

For the redeemed to excel in this world, the help of the Holy Spirit is needed. We all need the Holy Spirit, who is our helper, teacher, counselor, and guide.

The Holy Spirit is the source of excellence (Daniel 5:10, John 16:7, 2 Corinthians 4:13)."

The fruit of the spirit: Someone to bear fruit must be alive. The fruit of the spirit can exist when we have the spirit of God (Galatians 5:22). The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Love: Unconditional affection towards all, meaning we should love without expecting anything in return.
Joy: Choosing to respond to external circumstances with inner satisfaction and contentment (James 1:2-3).
Peace: An absence of war. Peace, as a fruit of the spirit, is staying calm in the presence of war or trouble (John 4:27).
Long-suffering: Not easily making decisions to retaliate and punish an offender. It is the ability to endure until victory comes.
Goodness: Working for the benefit of others or selflessness.
Kindness: Giving a helping hand and words of encouragement.
Faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are also fruits of the spirit needed by every believer.

Today is Good Friday and the benefit of Christ death was the major topic for without His journey to the cross there will be no redemption and salvation.
