Sharing 10 year old cookies | Simple Cookie Recipes
(Edited)
I would just like to present a few different kinds of cookies that I made about 10 years ago. 🤤😋
Those are very simple recipes for cookies with only few ingredients. Basic ingredients in the recipes are flour, eggs, sugar, oil/butter and baking powder.
LINZER COOKIES
Ingredients:
- 500 g of sifted all-purpose flour
- 330 g of chilled butter (refrigerated)
- 160 g of sifted powdered sugar
- 4 g of baking powder
- 1 tespoon of vanilla paste
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon of grated lemon zest
- 120 g of homemade marmalade (I used strawberry)
- Sift all dry ingredients in a bowl and add vanilla paste, lemon zest and egg. Knead it with your hands forming a ball. Let it refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight).
- Roll the dough 5mm thick and cut it using a cookie cutter. Bake it in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 8 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool down. In the meantime, heat up the marmalade in a small pot. Cover one side of a cookie with hot marmalade and place another cookie on top- just like a sandwich. Let them cool down.
